I'm not a fan. I do prefer the
Lindsay spelling, though. Not sure why. It just strikes me as being lumped in with all those other cutesy unisex names of the 1980's (
Courtney,
Ashley,
Brittany, etc.), and bratty kids I used to take care of when I worked in a day care. :b
BTW--I guess that's one reason I prefer less common names, because I know SO many kids. And I remember names so well, that I can't hear a name like
Lindsay (or
Brooke or
Austin) without cringing because of at least ONE child I took care of that was a terror with that name. LOL
