Lalita Dipali
in reply to a message by Casey
Lalita is much like her twin brother, but yet they both seem to find seperate things they enjoy daily. Lalita has long black hair that she wears down with barets, headbands, and bandans the majority of times, but sometimes she'll pull me down and make me french baraid her hair into two long pigtails or have me pull her hair back into a beautiful ponytail or a fancy bun. Her darker skin, black eyes, and hair make her so wonderful and beautiful little 7-year-old.Lalita is small for her age due too all the years of hunger and weakness in India. Although she is so tiny she is strong willed and hopeful. She is the one who always keeps us up when we are so sad. She has such a large heart and takes care of us all when we need someone else. Lita started second grade with her brother this past month and is a brilliant little girl. Unlike her brother Lita excells at reading, writing, and math, as well as music and social studies. She on the other hand hates gym and science! Lita is in a group called Synergy- which is for gifter students- smarter students. She loves it because she gets to leave class and go in a seperate room to do indiviual problems and challenges. At home she loves to jump on the trampoline and swim in our under ground pool. She is a natural fish! She also enjoys playing in our play house and swing set with her sister and her friends. She also loves playing house and dolls, and occasionally game cube with her brother. She also loves cooking and playing board games. She also is often found by the tv. Her favorite shows are Spongebob, Dora the Explorer, Care Bears, Pooples, My Little Ponies, Blue's Clues, Thornberries, Rugrats, PB&J, and Lizzie Migure. She also loves disney movies, Hilary Duff movies, and Pixar Movies.Recently Lita had her first slumber party with her group of friends Lily, Ullana, Kelsey, Amber, Ashley, and another set of twins Carly and Constance. We had them all over and it was so fun. The eight of them swam until dinner when we had cheese pizza and then they watched the Little Mermaid and played with her barbie dolls. Then finally at around midnight the little girls went to bed after my husband made them settle down and get in their sleeping bags and read them to sleep!Lalita is in dance which includes jazz, tap, and ballet. She is also in gymnastics, diving, figure skating, swimming, and karate. While the Olympics were going on she watched every sport and he begging me to let her do horseback ridding (which my husband is allowing her to start in the spring) and fencing (I refused, yet again my husband is in complet search of a class to put her and Akhil in!) She also is now dreaming to be an Olympic gold medleist in gymnastics, diving, and swimming. She is so good, I almost believe she'll be standing on that podium in 12 years. So watch out, here she comes! She has a huge collection of stuffed animals, dolls, ribbons, awards, trophies, stickers, and arts and crafts in her room. She has pink walls with sponged purple flowers with yellow centers all over the walls. Her carpet is a very light rose pink. Lalita's comforter is purple decorated with pink flowers all over it on one side and when you flip it over the purple and pink swich around, and her sheets and both a lighter pink and purple.Lita loves candy, ice cream, fruit punch, and vegtables. She, along with her brother hate rice, but she also hates dark chocolate, jelly, most fruits, and red meat. She also hates the school lunches so she has me pack a lunch for her daily. And she has a food for each day of the week that I MUST make her on that day!We all love Lalita. She so careing, compassaionet, loving, and fun. We enjoy her and love her so much. And she has come to love us and her home so much in this past year as well!
