Ngaio Aroha - New Zealand (Maori) - 8 years old
Ngaio a beautiful little girl whose knowlegable brown eyes and wavey black hair make her stand out in a crowd of hundereds. Ngaio, although the oldest perfers to follow my hubbie, and myself around the most - save Kyung-Soon of course. Ngaio loves to play outside and practice her native beliefs. She swims so fast, after so much swimming in the ocean who wouldn't! Ngaio talke much about her home and bilogical family, but all was to be expected for a 6-year-old (when we adopted this little beauty).Agnessa Lyubov / Isidora Nadezhda - Russia - 5 years old
Nessa and Isi are identical little blonde headed girls with deep pale blue eyes. Isi is the leader between the two but Nessa tends to do much more inside activies. Isidora loves horses and I have told her dozens of times 'NO,we can NOT get a horse' but after 23 times I agreed to put her in lessons which she loves and exelles at. Agnessa loves dolls (mostly her American Girl Doll she named Nicci) drawing, coloring, and reading. The tow are out spoken and love life here as our newest (and last) additions to our family last December. They especially love talking with me and K-So in Russian so their daddy and older sister can not understand! Kyung-Soon - Korea - 4 years old
K-So being the youngest, yet the longest member of our family being we adopted her when she was a few mounths old, is adored by our family and she loves helping her older sisters how to do something! Kyung-Soon loves learning and started pre-kindergarden this year and already the teachers say that she is brilliant, already knowing her letters and numbers, knowing additon and having such a good reading skill. Our little genius! She speaks English and Russian as her Native Languages and loves to talk with the twins in their native language. K-So loves baries, dolls, make believe, reading, soccor (my husband's programing her into his little girl), basketball, T-ball, running around, and playing at the park or on our playset.

Logan Taylor - USA - 8 years old
-Logan has curly blonde hair, usually tied in two short plaits, and blue eyes. She also has a great tan, from her 8 years in California. She loves to draw; already, the walls of her pale blue and white bedroom are littered with pictures of herself, our family, our house, and pictures of the USA. She also has a huge notice board, which takes up most of one wall, which she is going to cover with things that remind her of California. (I.e, at the moment she has her plane ticket from the way over, a leaving card that her other foster family gave her, a letter that she has received from her friend Elizabeth, who was in the same children's home as her, and a whole bunch of letters from her social worker Sara to me. She also likes to talk, and she loves to help cook!
She has settled in well, although she's still a little insecure and clingy at times-particularly at night-, and has made friends with two girls that live near us, Becca and Sophie. Amanda Leigh - USA - 6 years old
Mandy has long, wavy, dark brown hair and big brown eyes. However, although she might look shy, she is definitely not! She loves to tell us all about her life in Washington, and is a perfect little chatterbox. She doesn't like drawing as much as Logan; she loves using old diaries, scrapbooks etc (she loves to write down every little thing that happened today), to make recordings and videos with the tape recorder and video camera! She has a big box at the bottom of her wardrobe filled with everything she needs to make these fantastic 'Memory Capsules' (a name given to her by her social worker back in Washington), and already she's made 3 tapes (including one made whilst on the 12hr journey to England), and 1 video.

The sibling set who we adopted recently have finally adjusted to being here in America. Both Yoshi and Shinju are rapidly picking up English, Shinju although has caught on much faster. My husband, my son, Glykeria (whom we adopted 3 years earlier) and I have become bilingual, and we can now all speak English, Greek, and now Japanese fluently, (my husband and I speak Spanish and French as well!!!(and the kids are eagar to learn other languages.
Yoshi is an entergentic 6 year old who holds far to much knowledge and exerience for a child. Yoshi is the type of child who acts as if he knows nothing, when if fact he knows too much. When he fist arrived in our brand new home, we let him pick out his room color, and bedroomset. After so many hours os looking over and over the colors he finally chose an array of blues, greens, reds, yellows, and purples (that we splatered around the walls) and his room set was just as colorful as his walls. Yoshi doesn't like basic colors, I think because he finally sees in more than black and white. Yoshi's hair is a jet black (which almost matches his dark brown eyes) and my husband and 8-year-old son had a ball spiking it for his first day of kindergarden several weeks ago, and he loved it, so now every morning and 7:23 in the morning the three of them sit in the bathroom fixing his hair, while the girls and I do the same thing in Keria's room! In school Yoshi struggles with anything writen down because of his dylexia, but if something is told to him or if he watches soemthing he will remember it, which we realize will come in handy if he never quite catches on to learning to read and write. At school though he loves the ESL teacher who also had helped Keria when she arrived at the school, and he also loved drawing, coloring, painting, anything to do with arts. My husband has offically declared him the artist of the family, although Keria is close compation! Yoshi also loves to run around in our large backyard, swim in our neighbors pool, and play soccer with my 8-year-old and the neighbors.

Joaquin de Maria / Alma de Maria - Columbia - 7 years old
Elian Danilo - Mexico - 1 year oldJoaquin and Alma are very close, to the point where i had double tantrums when they discovered that they each had their own rooms! So they are now sharing one bedroom, but hopefully i'll be able to get them into separate rooms soon. Alma is very much the leader but on the whole they are both very sweet children.Elian, however, is proving to be more work. He hasn't adjusted to the new environment quite as well as the twins and cries almost all the time, very frustrating for the both of us seeing as hes so young so can't voice what the problem is! However in moments of quiet (usually when hes eating!) i can see what a charming little boy he really is.The twins are very similar in appearance. Both have straight black hair, and Joaquin is in need of a haircut, whereas Alma's hair reaches halfway down her back and is absoulutly beautiful! They both also have chocolate brown eyes. This combined with their angelic faces makes them a force to be reckoned with as they are very hard to get angry at, even though i know that they are planning something naughty behind those innocent smiles.Elian is a chubby little guy - very cute. He has curly black hair that refuses to behave, forever falling in his face, but it looks so adorable im loathe to have it cut.Joaquin is quite musical, hes forever walking around singing and has showed interest in learning an instument so thats definitly on the cards, as well as football which is something hes very excited about, definitly has a passion for it, but we're yet to see if there is talent also - either way he loves the game. Alma, however is a dancer through and through and is starting ballet classes next week!
