Jake and Tiff were shocked to conceive so soon after Nico's birth. Luckily, Nico is a very sweet baby, causing little trouble at all. Jake and Tiff are excited to be expecting another little girl. This time, they have decided to let Xander, Jett, and Topher into the naming process. They told the boys that if they could all agree on one name, it could be the new baby's middle name. Xander wants to use a name from of a famous athlete (either first or last), because he plays baseball, soccer, and basketball. Jett wants to use a name that starts with J like his name, and Topher is pretty oblivious to everything going on. Jake and Tiff have reserved the right to chooses the first name, and they are having trouble agreeing. Jake wants a name that is masculine like Nico, while Tiff wants her daughter to have a classy, feminine name.

RJ and Laura were not expecting to have another child, but now that Laura is pregnant, they cannot wait for their new baby girl to be born. They feel bad that little Maxwell is the only family member without a J middle name, so they plan on giving the new baby a F middle name so he is not alone. They would like the child's first name to begin with either L, M, or R. They want to use a name typically used in the early 1900s that is very uncommon today. They want one name to be lighthearted and pretty, and the other name to be on the serious side.

Although Ethan and Cassie had really wanted to adopt another child, they came to terms with the fact that it was far too expensive. They had just gotten used to the idea of being done with young children when they got the surprise of a lifetime--Cassie is expecting twins! Needless to say, the shocking news of having two more babies is taking awhile to sink in. They are expecting one boy and one girl. They want the children to both have one unisex middle name, but they do not want the first names to be theme-y. They also want each child to have a color middle name (two middle names each). As for fns, they have decided to name the children after "heroes." They do not care if the hero is from the present or past, they just want the man or woman to be a admirable character who had a positive impact on the world.
