The Ashton Family
James and Katie are expecting their first child together; they don't know the sex. Katie has two daughters from a previous marriage, Kayla and Emmaleigh. James wants to use a less trendy, more traditional name for this child, but Katie is worried that anything too "old-fashioned" will clash with her daughters' names. They have agreed to use a simple, but not too cliché or "filler" middle name.

DW: Kathryn Anne "Katie" (23)
DD: Kayla Faith (6)
DD: Emmaleigh Jane (3)

Margaret and Gail are expecting a boy. Margaret likes uncommon surnames as first names, but Gail thinks they're "pretentious." She has agreed to use one only if they use a traditional middle name and an ordinary nickname.

DW: Gail Rosalyn (29)
DS: D’Artagnan Matthew “Dan”

Jonny and Chris are expecting twin girls. They already have a son, Max. They want to use unusual names that are not too elaborate or frilly, but still feminine. Short and/or androgynous nicknames are nice, but not a must.

DW: Christina Joy "Chris" (32)
DS: Maxwell Robert "Max" (4)
DD/DD: Danica Margaret “Dannie” / Corrine Grace “Corrie”
