Dan and Alison are having a boy. James hates the fact that his first name is his last name and swears he won’t do that to his son. Alison doesn’t like the fact that her middle name is ambiguous. They want to give their son a traditional biblical name and the middle name Joseph.

Dallas and Caroline are having a little girl. Dallas’ family has a tradition of giving their children place names, but Caroline can’t stand the thought of her baby girl getting a name that was obviously a place (i.e. London, Paris, Michigan). Caroline loves names after days, months or seasons, but Dallas doesn’t. They want to find a compromise, where the baby’s first name is a place and middle name a month.
