ROUND 4:
Since Néa and Linus are a bit older we decided to adopt again.
This time we decided to go with a teen mother again, Shannon and her one year old daughter Aisling Eilidh. Shannon wished to change her name to Mahalia, but keep her middle name. So she is now called Mahalia. Hettie lives a few streets away and is a great help. She and Mahalia sit together and talk for hours, probably about how hard it is to have a child so young. And about how that doesn't mean live is already finished! Hettie has met a man and they now live together since 2 years. We just got the news that she is pregnant again, and that she and Maximo Julio are happy about being a family of five. We hope that Hettie can help Mahalia with her depressions aswell as the rest of the family. Ash did have problems at first, but adjusted quickly to her new "siblings".
Ida and Viveka are doing fine. They are still best friends and share everything. And they are still very wild!
Ed, Tabea and Mia have also formed a little group, in which they all help each other in the things they aren't good in. Mia may not hear very well on her right ear, but she copes really well - the same as Ida with her's.
Matthew, Tea and Linus are aour wild threesome! They run around and play football all day long! Nea and Lia are the same, as soon as they get together they will disapear until it is time to go home. We are very happy with our big family! Maybe even bigger soon?
ROUND 3:
Elsa and Mia are very happy to join our family. Elsa wanted to change her name to Viveka, so we let her. She started going wild water kajaking with Ida, and they get along fantastic. Mia has no problems with her ear, we are used to having a child that is deaf on one ear, except that it is the right this time. :-)
She is very clever and loves to help Matthew with his homework. She, Edward and Tabea have become closest friends.
Hettie finished school and is nearly finished with uni. She will be working in the same town and keep living with us for a while, so we can help with Tea and Lia. They have both started school now, and love confusing people by talking about all their brothers and sisters. Although this is technicaly not correct :-)
We had another addition to our family four years ago - Morgaine had twins! At first we were a bit shocked, as twins mean a lot of trouble and work (and we know --> Tea and Lia!), but can also have serious medical conditions. And Morgaine didn't want to give up work.
But it all turned out fine, Nea and Linus are healthy and the whole family helped along! Luckily the kids weren't to young anymore.
Tea and Lia obviously love Nea and Linus to bits, and they play together a lot.
ROUND 2:
Adelaide and Edward have joined our family without any complications. Edward wanted to change his name, as he got teased at school because of it (Edwin) and he choose Edward. He and Tabea get along great, she helps him around school and finding new friends. Ida, credits for this go to Tea and Lia this time, loves her new younger siblings, without a doubt. Her ear doesn't bother her at all.
Hettie is just finishing her school education and wants to study social work afterwards. Tea and Lia can't wait and are really excited, as I am pregnant again!
We don't know what gender the child is yet, but we are all looking forward to it. Matthew is really happy, as he can finally play football with Tea - more or less!
ROUND 1:
Mariette, Hettie for short (Tabea and Matthew couldn't pronounce her name from the start), has moved in and we are very happy to this addition to our family. Her twins were born healthy and together with Hettie we decided on the names Thierry Julien and Liliane Sophie. Credits for their nns go to Matthew again, Tea and Lia, as Thierry and Liliane are to hard for him. Christian and I help her with the twins as good as we can, she has a small flat on the top floor of our house with her own kitchen and bathroom, but she spends most of the time with the family downstairs. She get's along great with Tabea and Matthew, teaching them French (which is good, as Christian and I are very bad at it!) and babysitting in the evenings when we both have to work. Of course, we look after Tea and Lia at least once a week, when she wants to go out, she is still young after all! She has also joined a drama course and is really enjoying it.
