Keoni (now 10) has enjoyed living with us very much. He seems to relate well to the older kids, especially Loren. Keoni is quite popular at his school and he likes playing soccer and running track. Beth and Cara were a little overwhelmed at first, but they've adjusted quite well to Keoni. Alejandro and Esperanza (whom we call Ale (like Al-lay) and Anza) have been slowly adjusting as well. Ale and Keoni hang out a lot together with Loren (who is going to the community college so that he can still help out here at home). Anza is a happy little girl in spite of her experiences. She and Connor are getting along pretty well, though Connor doesn't like playing 'house' all the time. Ale and Anza do, unfortunately, have a tendency to have a 'eat-or-die' mentality and they ravenously eat any food that is set before them. However, Loren was like that when we first adopted him, so I think they'll grow out of it.
