It has been a year since we have adopted the children.
Ana is 15 years old now, and is takign college level classes. Juan learned english, but he often makes mistakes when reading confusing elsglish sounds and spansish sounds, and his dyslexia only makes it worse. He didnt want to go into the class with the other dyslexic kids out of fear of embarrassment, so we hired a tutor to help him with his reading and writing.
Lauren has been doing well. we took her to the doctor to see if we could get a hearing aid, but it wont help her hearing.
Matts Bar Mitzvah was flawless. Both Craig and I are Jewish, so we were able to help him, although the synagauge was very crowded from our family, and his many friends.
Dayo (who we call DeeDee) is also doing great. Last week she said her first word 'family' which came out more like 'fammy'.
