We would like to adopt Gracie!
Our house is what you would call busy. We aren't chaotic (yet!) But the kids do keep Matthew and I busy! We live in a small town, in a five bedroom, two bathroom house. I became a stay-at-home mother after Kate came along, because Matthew was making a good amount of money, and we decided that someone should be home for our children, at least until our last child turns two or three. So, while I am home being a mama, Matthew is a doctor. He loves his job, and we're getting along fine, so the situation is very nice, at the moment. Adam is currently involved in basketball and baseball, and has recently upheaved his grades, and we think a pet would be a nice reward to show we appreciate his efforts. Kate is our little gymnast, but has a terrific interest in animals. Her first word was kitty, and considering we didn't have one, we think she is probably destined to own a cat. Lena is too young to really tell us she wants a pet, but she is fascinated by Gabrielle's (Her three-year-old friend) cat Belle and fish Leo. Since I currently have my hands rather full with a two year old Lena and newborn Asher, who although is an angel still demanding, the older children may be feeling a little stressed, and we would love to bring Gracie home to show how much we love them, along with a new family night plan every Saturday. We think Gracie would be very content in our home! We would keep her inside during the night, but allow her to come and go through a cat flap on our front door as she pleased during the day. I have a hunch that Adam and Kate would spoil her- They both are finicky eaters, and don't like meat. I've seen them plopping their chicken down under the table...
