Congratulations to Lana, Isaiah and Saul!We have found you six children.Caoimhe Siobhan is ten years old from Ireland. She has Down Syndrome, and is mildly retarded. She will need to be sent to a special school to be able to learn and develop. In spite of her disablity, she is very kind and loving and adores to draw. She is very excited about having a brother her age to play with.Yekaterina Aleksandra "Katya" is eleven years old from Russia. She was previously adopted by an abusive family, and was returned to the orphanage fairly recently. Understandably, she is very skittish and afraid of new people. It will take patience and gentleness to reach Katya, and convince her that she is safe again, which may be further complicated by the language barrier. She enjoys reading and listening to music.Sofia Linnea "Sofie" is eleven years old from the Netherlands. She has generalized anxiety disorder which has not been able to be controlled at the orphanage, so she will need evaluation ASAP. She is jumpy and nervous and afraid to go to her new home, so she will need love and care to help her settle in. Sofie has a kitten named Alexandra whom she adores.Aidan Callum is ten years old from Ireland. He knows Caoimhe from the same orphanage and they are good friends. He is very protective of her and is a great help in her care. He is in excellent health and is a strong, hardy boy. He enjoys sports and being outside, and will want to join at least one sports team in his new home. He is extremely smart, and adores school.
