The year is 2050. Most of Elspeth and Auguste’s grandchildren and their partners have sadly passed away. Leo and Andrew have given Mei the best life possible, and she has become a wildlife photographer and is now happily married to her DH, a wildlife documentary maker, and are both taking some time off from their travels to raise their newborn twins.
Lucian and Sadie have tied the knot and still working at the same IT firm, though are now both working in very senior positions. Jemima married her high school best friend and sweetheart, and they decided not to have children of their own and become foster parents, and have successfully fostered and found homes for over 20 children since they began fostering about 10 years ago. Niamh became a jeweller and met her DH, an accountant, through one of her coworkers, and they have recently had a son.
Emeline and Sathyan had another daughter, but she sadly passed away from leukaemia after a 4-year battle. Unfortunately, the grief caused by their DD’s death caused Emeline and Sathyan to split, and neither has remarried though they are still on good terms. Theodore has become a social worker and his DW is a defence lawyer, and they have a DD. Priti chose to pursue a career in cancer research, determined not to let what happened to her sister happen to anyone else, and met her DH, a fellow researcher, at a conference. They quickly married and have two children. Vikram has become an engineer, and has recently proposed to his DF, a primary school teacher.
Dahlia and Weston took over Emily’s flower shop and have recently expanded it, turning it into both a flower shop and a photography studio that provides services for all kinds of events and functions and have found huge success. Valeria has helped the family business and become a wedding planner, and met her DH, a professional athlete, at a wedding that she had helped plan. They have recently just had twin sons. Dahlia and Weston’s DS studied economics at university and now works in London as a financial advisor, he has recently proposed to his DF, a psychology student.
Carmelo and Emma work at the same hospital as a physiotherapist and cardiac surgeon respectively, and they now have three children. Rosalinda met her DH, a website designer, through her work and they have been happily married for a number of years and have two children.
Colette was a very successful dancer, and stepped down as a prima ballerina as she got older and began teaching ballet instead. Malcolm continued his work as a vet and later opened his own practice. Both have now retired and are enjoying their golden years together. Tosca followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a contemporary dancer and grew to fame after appearing in a music video for a popular artist. Her DH is a famous comedian, and they have two sons together, but sadly Tosca passed away in a tragic car accident leaving her whole family grieving. Octavia pursued research in the medicinal properties of herbs and plants and has helped develop medication to treat and cure a number of diseases, and still remains deeply affected by her sister’s death. Her DH is a police officer, and they have one daughter.
