Robin and LIz met when Liz commissioned him to paint a family portrait as a surprise for her parents' 25th wedding anniversary. It was love at first sight, and after a whirlwind courtship, the two were married. Then it was time to start a family.
Except that Liz struggled to become pregnant. Despairing, she and Robin decided to adopt, and that's how Reilly came into their lives. Her birth mother was a teen who couldn't care for her.
Reilly was just one year old when a miracle happened: Liz got pregnant with Lillian. Lillian inherited her father's auburn hair and her eyes from her maternal grandmother.
Some years later, Liz decided she wanted just one more baby. This time, she turned to IVF and she and Robin were blessed with triplets - two boys and a girl. Though all three had strawberry blonde hair, Ann inherited the same hazel eyes as her sister Lillian instead of the sperm donor's green eyes.
