The royal children of Northwood are growing up. Queen Callista is determined to find advantageous marriages for her children! She was particularly successful at finding a match for Princess Amandine. Baren Wynstar is a good man, wealthy, smart, titled, has an estate within Northwood, and is relatively young. Callista was married off to Alphonso when she was a little older than Amandine to man even older! The one problem is Amandine is sure about the engagement. She like Claude, but isn't sure she's ready or that he's the right man.
Prince Ajax is also engaged. The queen is less thrilled with this engagement. Lady Antigone is the daughter of an earl, and well-connected, but she's only moderately wealthy. King Alfonso is pleased and has promised to make Ajax a royal duke with an estate after the engagement so the queen is coming around. Part of the problem is that Ajax is her dear eldest son and no one is good enough for him. She still believes he might be king, even though Apollo is older and has many children.
Speaking of which, Prince Apollo and Empress Anushka welcomed a new daughter named Astra. They are very excited. Even though some of their kids are older, they are not in a hurry to marry them off.
King Alfonso is still the King of Northwood. His Uncle Ansel is now engaged to a woman, who made millions as a novelist. Dame Myrto Klyde wrote books as Revecca Crownwell and she is published in over 20 languages. She is also a playwright. This engagement is part business arrangement and part for companionship. Dame Myrto has someone to handle her legacy and the Royal Family gets money!
