Danica is a first generation American, her parents were born in Slovakia and immigrated to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania before she was born. Angus was born and raised in the south side of Chicago and can trace his Irish lineage back to Donegal, Ireland. His ancestor’s fled Ireland’s Great Famine and settled in Chicago in 1846.
The couple met when Danica relocated to Chicago to study Psychology at The University of Chicago (UIC). Angus owns a bar in the South Loop.
They now live in a quaint cottage in Winnetka, Illinois.
