Dario and Sita live in Guyana. Dario has a little bit of everything in his bloodline, making him look rather unique. His grey eyes were what caught Sita's attention when she met him at the beach. Sita's family moved from Nepal when she was six so she has grown up in Guyana. Dario is a bassist and plays in a pretty popular band called Sodaim Me Noo (Sometimes I Know). Sita owns her own Nepali style restaurant, the one her parent's started and left to her. They met when Dario's band played at her restaurant. Sita loves music and Dario loves food, so they're a perfect match!

Čedomir and Pushpa are their parent's pride and joy. They get their curls and very unique eyes from Dario, who is proud to have passed the grey on. Their soft brown locks are Sita's, making them easily recognizable as hers. In other news, the Georgetown hustle and bustle was too much for the two young parents so they move to Parika, which is quite close to Georgetown but far enough to give them some peace. Sita starts her family restaurant anew there, as the commute is too much for her. It picks up popularity fast. Dario still drives to Georgetown for his band practices and such.

Sita is very happy that he's been "promoted" since they have four children to care for. The older boys sometimes go to work with Sita, while Dario is still on daycare duty.

Both sets of twins look at her strangely for a while, but soon realize she looks like Dario so she is NOT an alien creature. Now the hassle is more than ever, with five children, none of which are school age. Sita is bringing the older boys to work even more now, while Dario handles the youngers at home.

She has her associates degree for this, as a fallback if the restaurant failed. Sita must be recertified but her new career soon takes off. She is not her own boss anymore which is a pretty big change. She must travel for some of her work and so Dario has the kids more often.

Čedomir and Pushpa are in preschool now, taking a heavy load off of Dario who now has more freedom for his music and band.

Prashant gets a nasty stomach bug right before school starts, missing much of his first month of kindergarten. He catches up quickly, but is bullied and treated as the stupid kid because of his initial missing. Sita's heart breaks for her boy, but Dario says he must learn to deal with it (up to a point) and prove them wrong. Ana Sita tries to defend her brother, but Dario encourages her to watch and step in when necessary to avoid teaching Prashant to be dependent on her. Prashant soon excels in class, reading at a high level and able to multiply and divide. Now no one calls him stupid!

Dario and Sita divorce! Sita was too stressed with family and work life. Dario is confused and a little betrayed, but the seperation is amicable. They explain to the children what is happening. The older twin sets immediately start questioning it, Marina bursts into tears, Hira declares "Everyone needs hugs!" and Ena Laxmi and Drashti... are still asleep. Sita moves closer to her parents. The Rivera kids are in shared custody, but to make it easier on the family are split into halves. The older twin sets are split up, Dario taking Pushpa and Ana Sita, Sita taking Čedomir and Prashant. Sita also takes the two singles. Dario is the best with kids, so the babies go to him. For six months the siblings stay with the one parent, seeing each other at their maternal grandparents' house on the weekends, then Sita takes Dario's and vice versa. The whole family sees each other at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Dario also starts giving bass lessons to compensate for his low-for-four-kids pay.

Dario adopts a boy from Ethiopia named Lencho. Pushpa had been complaining about being surrounded by girls all the time, and so voila. Lencho is a good deal older than Pushpa, though. Lencho had a bit of a hard time learning the Guyanian culture and how to decipher the Creole, but he knows English so he adapted quickly. Pushpa looks up to his brother a lot, learning the hardships he came from. The other Rivera kids quickly accept Lencho, giving him a tour of Baaje and Bajyai's house upon their first meeting.
A few months earlier, Sita had been chatting with Dario's younger brother, salesman Adalberto "Adal" Rivera. With the kids all at some form of school, it gets lonely at home. Long story short, it ended up being romantic and they've had a son, Wilson. Dario's first four actually get the baby news first, while Sita's first four get the boyfriend news. The family dynamic is a bit awkward now, with a half-sibling/cousin and whatnot, but Dario claims he's happy for Sita (while internally he's seething with rage butthat'sbesidesthepoint MOVING ON).

Dario and Čedomir get into an argument over what the family has for dinner. Adal and Sita are engaged, and have twin girls. Amita gets red hair, meaning Adal has a gene Dario doesn't, and Eugénia has black hair, something no natural born Rivera child has. All the kids are apathetic to the Adal Rivera three, except Ena Lazmi and Drashti, who are too young to tell any difference between their half-siblings/cousins and their siblings. Tension runs between Dario and Adal, who were quite close for their age gap before this ordeal.

Dario and Sita divorce! Sita was too stressed with family and work life. Dario is confused and a little betrayed, but the seperation is amicable. They explain to the children what is happening. The older twin sets immediately start questioning it, Marina bursts into tears, Hira declares "Everyone needs hugs!" and Ena Laxmi and Drashti... are still asleep. Sita moves closer to her parents. The Rivera kids are in shared custody, but to make it easier on the family are split into halves. The older twin sets are split up, Dario taking Pushpa and Ana Sita, Sita taking Čedomir and Prashant. Sita also takes the two singles. Dario is the best with kids, so the babies go to him. For six months the siblings stay with the one parent, seeing each other at their maternal grandparents' house on the weekends, then Sita takes Dario's and vice versa. The whole family sees each other at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Dario also starts giving bass lessons to compensate for his low-for-four-kids pay.

Dario adopts a boy from Ethiopia named Lencho. Pushpa had been complaining about being surrounded by girls all the time, and so voila. Lencho is a good deal older than Pushpa, though. Lencho had a bit of a hard time learning the Guyanian culture and how to decipher the Creole, but he knows English so he adapted quickly. Pushpa looks up to his brother a lot, learning the hardships he came from. The other Rivera kids quickly accept Lencho, giving him a tour of Baaje and Bajyai's house upon their first meeting.
A few months earlier, Sita had been chatting with Dario's younger brother, salesman Adalberto "Adal" Rivera. With the kids all at some form of school, it gets lonely at home. Long story short, it ended up being romantic and they've had a son, Wilson. Dario's first four actually get the baby news first, while Sita's first four get the boyfriend news. The family dynamic is a bit awkward now, with a half-sibling/cousin and whatnot, but Dario claims he's happy for Sita (while internally he's seething with rage butthat'sbesidesthepoint MOVING ON).

Dario and Čedomir get into an argument over what the family has for dinner. Dario lets Lencho pick, but Čedomir complains he never gets to eat Guyanian food unless Adal is over at Sita's and she never lets any of them pick dinner. Dario is appalled, but says that Sita is mixed up right now. Čedomir asks why, and Dario responds by asking what he wants for dinner.
Adal and Sita are engaged, and have twin girls. Amita gets red hair, meaning Adal has a gene Dario doesn't, and Eugénia has black hair, something no natural born Rivera child has. All the kids are apathetic to the Adal Rivera three, except Ena Lazmi and Drashti, who are too young to tell any difference between their half-siblings/cousins and their siblings. Tension runs between Dario and Adal, who were quite close for their age gap before this ordeal.
