Re: Years of your life Game- Part 1(first 10 years)
Year Zero
My name is Rosalind Margery Fairchild. I was born in Newcastle, England, to St John Bridger Fairchild and Kiarra Daly Fairchild,
née Johnson. I have curly brown hair and brown eyes. My dad is half-Japanese, and has straight brown hair and dark brown eyes. My mum is white, with curly blonde hair and light brown eyes. I have a big brother named Frank Kaison Fairchild, who has Dad's hair but Mum's eyes, and a big sister named Kayleigh Lylah Fairchild, who looks just like Mum. I'm born with a club foot, which my parents are having treated through stretching and casting.St John [30] and Kiarra [31] with Frank [5], Kayleigh [4], and Rosalind [nb]Year One
I make a friend at daycare! His name is Oliver Ziggy Rhone. Ollie and I spend lots of time playing with blocks and watching Bluey on TV.St John [31] and Kiarra [32] with Frank [6], Kayleigh [5], and Rosalind [1]Year Two
Frank, Kayleigh, and I get a baby sister who looks just like dad! Her name is Phoebe Kiarra Fairchild. Kayleigh and I love her, but Frank isn't too happy to have yet another girl in the house. Phoebe's birth means Mum gets to stay home from work for a while, which we're all just fine with, especially me.St John [32] and Kiarra [33] with Frank [7], Kayleigh [6], Rosalind [2], and Phoebe [nb]Year Three
As much as I love Phoebe, she doesn't seem to care too much for me. She cries and fights with me a lot. Our parents take to resolving this by making us share a room at home. We get to be apart in daycare, and though we hate it at first, the time together helps us get to know each other a bit more.St John [33] and Kiarra [34] with Frank [8], Kayleigh [7], Rosalind [3], and Phoebe [1]Year Four
Phoebe and I still aren't getting along well. Even after sharing a room for so long, we fight and argue a lot of the time. Our parents are trying to make us get along, but are starting to wonder if we just might stay like this for awhile.St John [34] and Kiarra [35] with Frank [9], Kayleigh [8], Rosalind [4], and Phoebe [2]Year Five
At only five years old, I start reading first grade level books. My parents are very impressed! Phoebe's jealous of the attention I'm getting, though.St John [35] and Kiarra [36] with Frank [10], Kayleigh [9], Rosalind [5], and Phoebe [3]Year Six
I want to get my hair cut into a bob, but Mum's away, so Daddy takes me to his barber - who cuts it way too short! I hate it, but I'll just have to wait for it to grow out. In the mean time, I'm wearing a lot of headbands. Phoebe keeps laughing at me.St John [36] and Kiarra [37] with Frank [11], Kayleigh [10], Rosalind [6], and Phoebe [4]Year Seven
I decide to start playing the harp. Mumma rents me a knee harp and gets me lessons. I'm really enjoying it!St John [37] and Kiarra [38] with Frank [12], Kayleigh [11], Rosalind [7], and Phoebe [5]Year Eight
Frank dies, along with our neighbor and his best friend, when the golf cart they were riding is hit by a car. The family are devastated, especially Kayleigh, who was very close, and Dad. I try to help make people happy and honor him by taking on some of his favorite things: his music and lacrosse. It makes me feel closer to him.St John [38] and Kiarra [39] with Frank [dec.], Kayleigh [12], Rosalind [8], and Phoebe [6]Year Nine
Only a year after Frank's death, and at the age he was when he died, Kayleigh commits suicide. Dad and Mum are once again wrecked, and Phoebe doesn't understand how she could've done something and why her siblings keep leaving. I'm hurting badly at the loss of my only big sister, and I take as much of her things as I can - they're all I have left.St John [39] and Kiarra [40] with Frank [dec.], Kayleigh [dec.], Rosalind [9], and Phoebe [7]Year Ten
I've decided I want to be a vet when I grow up - just like Kayleigh did.St John [42] and Kiarra [41] with Frank [dec.], Kayleigh [dec.], Rosalind [10], and Phoebe [8]
