Re: Years of Your Life dice game, Part 1/5 (first 13 years)

This was fun so I'm doing it again.
Year 0- Alan Odd Delbert [29] (curly brown hair, grey eyes) and Alynna Camille (Kasper) Delbert [22] (wavy blonde hair, blue eyes) welcome Talon Odd Delbert [0] (straight brown hair, blue) in December. He is their third son, preceded by Aaron James [2] (straight brown hair, blue eyes) and Jubal Kin [1] (wavy brown hair, blue eyes). Talon and Aaron look very alike and will be mistaken for twins in later years. Aaron and Jubal dislike Talon at first, but he grows on them. Talon is soon diagnosed as deaf, though. He has no deaf family members to connect to and he and his family must learn ASL together. It is a definite struggle but it brings them closer together as a family.
Year 1- Even though I (Talon) am deaf, I still have an amazing talent, called boxing! We discover it in May when Aaron got a little too rough one day while we were playing and I socked him in the face. As soon as I can, Dad wants me to go on a team. Mom's only concern is my deafness. (Alan-30, Alynna-23, Aaron-3, Jubal-2, Talon-1)
Year 2- Aaron goes to pre-school this year. It's weird with only Jubal and I in the house, and going in the car every morning and afternoon. We go to Maryland for Christmas vacation and see all the cool sites. I don't really get it but I like being in a new place and seeing so many people and things I'm unfamiliar with. (Alan-31, Alynna-24, Aaron-4, Jubal-3, Talon-2)
Year 3- Aaron is in kindergarten and Jubal is at pre-school. I'm spending a lot of time alone with my parents, which is nice, since we sometimes do things my brothers don't get to. We go to a family reunion in June, on my mom's side, the Kaspers. Aaron, Jubal, and I play with cousins we've never met. The older girls fawn over me and my brothers proudly translate ASL into speaking so that I can be understood. (Alan-32, Alynna-25, Aaron-5, Jubal-4, Talon-3)
Year 4- I go to pre-school and Jubal goes to kindergarten this year. My mom goes with me for a few weeks as my class learns ASL and I get settled in. It's really cool all the people I get to play with and learn with. I meet a "cognitive" developmental milestone early, where I draw more complex people. It's discovered when I go to my checkup in December. I don't really get why that's so important, but Mom and Dad are happy so I am, too. (Alan-33, Alynna-26, Aaron-6, Jubal-5, Talon-4)
Year 5- I start kindergarten along with most of my classmates from last year, so it's not too difficult to settle in. Mom has another boy in December! His name is Leander Cam and he has wavy blond hair and grey eyes. He looks so different from my brothers and I, but he's definitely Mom and Dad's kid. I can't wait until he's big enough to play with us. (Alan-34, Alynna-27, Aaron-7, Jubal-6, Talon-5, Leander-0)
Year 6- I start taking boxing after-school in May. Dad goes with me to help if I need any, but I do pretty well except when I have to hear the bell. I get a device that taps me when the round's over. (Alan-35, Alynna-28, Aaron-8, Jubal-7, Talon-6, Leander-1)
Year 7- I discover that my favorite subject is science, where we're learning life science, in March. I like hearing the different views about our orgins. I think creation is the better view and has more evidence to support it. My least favorite is P.E. because the teacher never uses ASL so I can't understand him and we also always play a sport where you need to hear. I usually get all my homework done in P.E. or run a lot of laps. (Alan-36, Alynna-29, Aaron-9, Jubal-8, Talon-7, Leander-2)
Year 8- Aaron graduated elementary school this year. Mom can't believe how old we're getting. Aaron thinks he's really grown up now, but is still fun to be around. I am diagnosed with synesthesia in October. It's the type where each person has a color, like Mom is pink and Dad is green. (Alan-37, Alynna-30, Aaron-10, Jubal-9, Talon-8, Leander-3)
Year 9- Jubal graduated elementary school this year. He can't wait to join Aaron in middle school, and neither can I. Leander went to preschool. He's really excited about coming to school with me next year. My family threw me a surprise party for my birthday! I had no idea it was coming, and I liked it a lot! This was the best birthday ever. (Alan-38, Alynna-31, Aaron-11, Jubal-10, Talon-9, Leander-4)
Year 10- I graduated this year! I can't believe it. Finally, middle school! I feel so grown-up. The only thing I'm worried about is a lot of kids who don't know ASL, but hopefully there'll be other kids like me. I tried out for the YMCA volleyball team in June, but got rejected because you have to be able to hear to play.I didn't really expect to get on the team, but I was still sad. I still play with my brothers, though. Leander is really excited to be in school. (Alan-39, Alynna-32, Aaron-12, Jubal-11, Talon-10, Leander-5)
Year 11- My first year of middle school. Aaron's last. He's now a teenager and sometimes insufferable about it! But he's okay most of the time. Mom and Dad let me dye my hair red in May, and though it fades after a while I like it a lot. (Alan-40, Alynna-33, Aaron-13, Jubal-12, Talon-11, Leander-6)
Year 12- Aaron starts high school and has so much he does and wants to do that he doesn't really spend time with us anymore. Mom and Dad said it's just a phase. Jubal is a teenager but he isn't as bad about it as Aaron was, but he still gloats. I broke my wrist while sparring with Jubal in March and can't go to boxing until I'm back full-strength, which will take longer than I want it to but Dad says I have to completely recover or I'll hurt myself again. I guess he's right, but I'll miss practice for a long time. (Alan-41, Alynna-34, Aaron-14, Jubal-13, Talon-12, Leander-7)
Year 13- Teenagerhood! Finally! Jubal is in high school and Aaron gets his permit! Mom has a surprise daughter in November! There are a lot of things happening! She's super excited to have a baby girl and we're excited about a sister. Leander is a little annoyed at not being the youngest but soon comes to adore her. Her name is Camille Grace and she has wavy brown hair and blue eyes. It's a little weird having another kid in the house, but Camille is fun. Aaron, Jubal, and Leander complain about being woken up at night by her crying, but I don't have that problem! Changing diapers is the worst part. (Alan-42, Alynna-35, Aaron-15, Jubal-14, Talon-13, Leander-8, Camille-0)
