HelpName These Characters 3
Hey guys... welcome to the third installment of Name These Characters.
I will tell you the winners from last time.
1. I wanted you to name the goth girl who never faces the sunlight (almost as if she's a vampire, or really wants to be one).
My favorite was... Onyx Patricia Tartanell submitted by Averyconfusedhomo. (Nice username, by the way.)
I actually like all of the goth names, but the reason that I didn't pick anything with Raven in it was because it's a stereotypical name for a die-hard goth girl. Almost all of you put "raven" somewhere in there. If you guys are coming up with similar names as each other, does it make sense to favor one duplicate over the other? They're all pretty good, but it's best to choose one that stands out in a good way.
That's why Audreaelizabeth gets an honorable mention for Drusilla Anastasia Hathaway.
2. I told you to name a family-oriented mechanic. I think that the best name for that guy was Edward Allan "Ted" McKiernan submitted by Hummingbird Brook. Ted just sounds very middle-aged/old-fashioned and friendly. I think it would suit a man like that.
3. And then, you had to name a sour vampire who lost his life to an automobile accident in the 1900s..R.I.P. And my real-life condolences go to any person who has lost a loved one in this manner, or in any manner. : (
The winner for this category is Ty_Firmin who picked Ambrosius Penn Symeon Danvers. I also like Athan Ectorius from Averyleddy. it sounds mysterious~.
4. Who's the cross country skier who scared the living daylights out of his parents? Well, his name should probably be...Kai Rowan Nilsson.
Notice how all of his names come from different cultures: he could be from anywhere. I also like that his name sounds super modern. Clearly, he's a young guy with a lot of promise. Congratulations Hummingbird Brook..again.
5. And the gardener who loves puppies and coffee...she could literally be anyone's mom. Her name should be.. Zofia Clare Nightingale chosen by Ty_Firmin. It's not a flower name but it still sounds flowery! I appreciate that. But I also like Penelope Georgia "Poppy" Sundberg by Hummingbird Brook and Felicity Rosecliff from Halihali. Clever..
I'm telling you: this one stumped me as hard as the goth girl one! Everyone did an amazing job. Y'all haven't ceased to impress me.
The overall winner is Ty_Firmin, who had the number one answer in 2 categories. Congratulations! Hummingbird Brook is in second place.

1. Name the bookworm who reads wizard stories and sticks pencils behind her ears so she can look smart. (The wizard stories do not have to be Harry Potter, but if you insist.)
2. What's a good name for a surfer who has long, black locks and paints landscapes in her spare time?
3. The guy who always gives you free snacks at the gas station. He's socially awkward, but remembers all of his customer's regular orders.
4. The man who became a circus clown. His loved ones feel kind of embarrassed for him, but he loves wearing those funny looking shoes and red squeaky noses.
5. Who is the journalist? She likes to find REAL stories, ones that are relevant to protesters, children, animal lovers, you name it. Her goal is to sympathize and always speak the truth.
(No supernatural characters this time. Maybe next time? Oh, and forget the deadline. It's whenever I feel like it. :P I've been busy.)

Normal person: "I AM a name nerd, you're just weird."
Me: *realizes for the umpteenth time that I'm just really freaking weird* "Okay Alexander."
Him: "My name's Michael."
