Your new children and siblings are 9 year old Ishmael Hamish and his sister six year old Eliza Ruth and eight year old Amerdev Asher and his little brother four year old Raj Tarriq.
Ishmael, Amerdev, Eliza and Raj were found wandering the streets homeless and fending for themselves. They were immediatly taken into care and now are looking for adoption together.
Ishmael is the head of the children, used to protecting them from the dangerous life on the streets he seems like a tough cookie. But really Ishmael is just an ordinary 9 year old who needs to have his childhood back.
Amerdev and his brother escaped from a violent home to live on the streets and as a result seem very independant. But Amerdev is actually a sensitive boy who needs parents who will care for him and let him play.
Eliza is a frightened comfused girl who doesn't know who to turn to. Adults were always dangerous and now she has to live with them Eliza has often ran away. However these events are getting less and she is starting to settle into home life. She has found a deep love for dance and music.
Raj is a lovely little boy who quickly adapts to new routines, having started at school lately he is only a little behind and is catching up quickly. he makes friends easily and loves his new found freedom.
The older three children are currently being home schooled because they are so far behind in their studies, they are al making progress and it is hoped that they will go into mainstream school in a few years.
Ishmael, Amerdev, Eliza and Raj need a safe, stable home that will give them back their lost childhoods and try to convince them that they don't need to fend for themselves anymore.
Please tell me how Ishmael, Amerdev, Eliza and Raj get on with you.

Your new children are six year old Gretchen Annie, five year old Benjamin Jacob, 13 month old Cara Rhianna and their cousins five year old Megan Amber and three year old Spencer Jack.
Gretchen, Megan, Benjie, Spencer and Cara were rescued last year from a cult camp that their parents belonged to. The cult was judged to be dangerous and damaging for the children so they were immediatly removed along with ten others. It would be good if we could keep these close cousins together.
Gretchen is a fiery red head and often jumps into things without thinking of the consequences. However despite this she is a caring girl who mothers the younger children. Gretchen seems to be pleased to be going to a new home and to be leaving the nasty people behind.
Megan is another little red head but is alot quieter than her cousin. reading and drawing are her passions and she often withdraws from social situations and escapes into a world in her head that is safe. Megan needs support to help her cope better in social situations and to make friends.
Benjie has just turned four and this cheeky red head will keep you on your toes, diagnosed with ADHD he is currently on Ritalin but this is under review.
Spencer is a beautiful blue eyed, blond little boy who like is sister Megan is very quiet and shy. He seems scared of being loud and active and needs to be encouraged to shout and scream and run about like normal little boys of his age.

Gretchen has lovely hair and she loves for me to do it in the morning. She really does mother the younger ones and has settled in really well. She never takes us for granted and seems really happyif we just read her a story at night.
Megan is very good at drawing, but she is a bit withdrawn. We are coping with this and hopefully are helping her by playing whenever she gets like that. She already has two good friends at school who have been round a couple of times.
Benjie is so cheeky but ever so cute! His ADHD is getting steadily worse but we don't mind as he is so lovable. He seems to be calming down at bedtime quicker now for some reason.
Spencer is gorgeous! He is quiet but talks a lot, though quietly, at home now. We are encouraging him to scream at the park and Benjie is always loud.
Cara has picked up simple words since being here, but we take her to a speech therapist now as well.

Thankyou for telling me how Gretchen, Megan, Benjie, Spencer and Cara are doing.
I am glad Gretchen has settled down so well with you, it is nice to hear she is helping you with the littler children. It sounds like Megan is starting to come out of her shell a little, which is encouraging news, i am very pleased that she has already made friends at school. Benjie has always been the most 'difficult' of the these cousins and it sounds like it might be advisable to review his medication, this might have some benefits for him in the long run.
Perhaps he is calmer at bedtime because it is a structured time? he knows exactly what will happen in certain orders and times. ADHD kids react well to routines. I am also gald to hear that Cara has started to say few things and that you are investing time and energy in a speech therapist for her.
Good luck to you and Gretchen, Megan, Benjie, Spencer and Cara.

Your new children and siblings are eleven year old Zakary MacKenzie, eight year old Xantha Keira, four year old Alyssia Lyra and 21 month old Esme Freya.
Zak, Xantha, Alyssia and Esme are siblings who despretly need a new home. The elder three were rescued from their violent trailer park home three years ago and have been and out of foster care since. Esme was taken as soon as she was born and all four are now ready for adoption.

Fiercly protective of his younger sisters Zak is a wonderful big brother, and this side of him is his true personality.

Alyssia is quieter than her siblings and will need parents who will boost her confidence with other children and especially adults.

Your new children are five year old Charlotte Elsie and four year old Martha Jemima from America.
Lottie and Martha are two very close sisters who had to be taken into care a year ago along with their two year old brother Felix Kenneth. Their mother could no longer cope with her children as she had severe depression coupled with ME. So she asked social services to take the children off her hands. They now have no contact with their mother. Sadly little Felix died a few months later just 2 days after his third birthday of meningitis. This has left the two girls in deep shock at being seperated from both their mum and brother.
Lottie is a sweet little girl who is trying to be brave for Martha. Doing well at school and making friends fairly easily she seems to be coping well. However she does have bed wetting problems which shows some of what she must be feeling underneath her brave act. Lottie will need a lot of time and support to guide her through the next few years.
Martha is also a sweet girl who gives lots of smiles and laughs. Warming to people very quickly she makes it very easy for people to love her. Martha is very confused at the moment and does not fully understand what has happened in this past year, thus can be very clinging and prone to whining and crying for no obvious reason. Once settled into a new home Martha should prove to be a lovely little daughter.
Lottie and Martha have a traumatic year and need a settled home with lots of love. They will then prove to be very successful young women when they grow up.
Please tell me how Lottie and Martha get on with you.

Your new children and siblings are 5 year old twins Richard Theodore and Anna Louise.
Richard and Anna come from a wealthy priviliged home. There father adpoted them from Russia when they were 2 months old. Unfortunatly their adopted father when to prison a few months ago after it was found he was involved in large scale credit card fraud. He got a minimum sentance of 15 years so it was decided the best thing for the twins was to be adopted again.
Richard is a polite and sensitive little boy who loves to read. He is no happier than when snuggled up in quiet corner with a book, where he will stay for hours. A bit of a loner a school he finds it hard to make friends, so it would be good if you could get him involved in some extra curricula activities.
Anna is also a polite well mannered girl. Anna is louder and more active than her twin brother and they are not particulaly close. Anna loves to dance and sing and act so would do well at a dance school. Anna is popular at her school and is doing well academically.
Richard and Anna understand they will not see their dad again and do get sad about it from time to time, however they are very resillient and will settle into a new environment quickly.

Your new children and siblings are nine year old Jason Aaron, eight year old identical twins Clementine Linda and Katelyn Alannah and seven year old Chloe Eilidh.
Jason, Clemmie, Katelyn and Chloe are siblings in desperate need of a new home and a fresh start. A home full of abuse by their stepfather, they were taken into care a year ago along with there baby twin sisters who have found a home elsewhere.
Jason is a lovely young boy, who is extremely helpful and kind and will fit into his new home seemlessly. He does well at school and has some firm friends and enjoys ballet which he is very good at, he will need encouragement to persue this talent as it is thought he could make it at the top. Jason has taken the burden of care for his younger sisters on his young shoulders and it is high time this charming little lad got some of his childhood back.
Clemmie and Katelyn are very alike and hard to tell apart, they will often switch places, so watch out for this party trick! Having suffered the worse of the abuse they are also very vulnerable and emotional fragile at the moment and will need to continue with their counselling long into the future. The twins draw strength from each other and often escape into their own fantasy world. The twins will need help in becoming two seperate people and will need understanding and guidance when they decided to face the past and confront their emotions.
Chloe also suffered some apalling abuse and is also very vulnerable but unlike her sisters, she is confronting her emotions now. Angry, fraustrated and confused she throughs some big tantrums and can show some very difficult behaviour. Chloe should be allowed to demostrate her anger in a secure environment and her counsellor believes this is just a phase, which is understandable and she will with time get over it. By which she hopefully will have come terms with it and will be able to move on.

Noah (18), Bekah (17), Marina (14), Jason (9), Clemmie (8), Katelyn (8), and Chloe (7)
Jason, Clemmie, Katelyn, and Chloe are adjusting well. There have been a few roadblocks, but we're doing well.
Noah isn't home much because he's away at college. Bekah has been sort of like a second mother to Chloe and the pair has become very close. Marina likes having some younger siblings around and she's been helping them with homework and has even started taking dance classes so she can help them practice. Jason has been having a good time at our house. Since we live fairly close to the adoption agency, he and his sisters have been able to attend the same school. Jason is still doing ballet. Some of the neighborhood boys teased him about it, but Marina and Bekah straightened them out. Clemmie and Katelyn have switched places on us more than we care to count, but now they are starting to be themselves. Clemmie is starting to face her emotions and sometimes suffers mood swings. Katelyn still supresses her emotions, but draws on Clemmie for strength. Chloe still throws angry tantrums, but they've lessened as she and Marina have gotten closer. We enrolled the girls in beginning dance classes and they are doing good. We are also continuing to provide counseling for all four of the children. Jason doesn't need it too much anymore, but his sisters feel very secure when he goes with them to counseling sessions.
My lovely PPs!

Thankyou for telling me how Jason, Clemmie, Katelyn and Chloe have been getting on.
It sounds like it has been a tough journey but you are making real progress with them, i was especially glad to hear that Clemmie has started to face her past. i am pleased your older girls sorted out the boys who were teasing Jason and that he is still carrying on, which shows his great strength of character. Chloe seems to be doing nicley and her friendship with Marina sounds like it has done her a world of good. Katelyn was always the quieter twin, when we knew which was which! It is thought that she suffered some of the worse abuse and this is why it may take her a bit longer than Clemmie to confront it.
Good luck for the future Will, Lydia, Noah, Bekah, Marina, Jason, Clemmie, Katelyn and Chloe.

Your new children and siblings are three year old Maisy Grace and 5 month old Jonah Lucas.
Maisy and Jonah's mother and father tragically died in a car crash a few months ago. Leaving them no other relatives they need to be adopted.
Maisy is very quiet and shy three year old who has not said much since she lost her parents, once a bubbly young toddler she is now a shadow of her former self. Other than Jonah she doesn't like to get close to anyone and we have had great trouble trying to comfort her. Maisy needs parents who will sesitively guide her through her grief and help her to regain her confidence.
Jonah at five months old seems to be a normal healthy baby boy who is very aware of his surroundings and will give you lots of lovely smiles and babbles. He even has a special gurgle which he does only to his sister.
Maisy and Jonah are two very special children who have had to cope with a lot at a very young age, once settled into their new home and surroundings should give you years of happiness. Changing Jonah's name shouldn't be a problem as he his still young, but as Maisy is confused enough as it is i would suggest you let her keep it- it is all she has of her mum and dad.
Please tell me how Maisy and Jonah get on with you.

Your new children and sisters are eight year old Amelia Nancy and six year old Mary Bessie.
Amelia and Mary are two very close sisters. they come from a home filled with drugs and alcohol and had to be removed for their own safety. Although still in contact with their birth mum it is expected this will stop once they are adopted as the visits prove very upsetting for the girls.
Amelia is a bright confident girl who loves to play on her bike and read. She is doing extremely well at school and at the top of her class in most things. Amelia has always had to care for her little sister and will not shy from telling you you are doing it wrong. You must help her to accept she no longer needs to do so much for Mary.
Mary is quieter than Amelia and finds school a lot harder, although not statemented she will need a lot of support from home. Mary also finds it easy to make friends and is very musical, she loves to dance and sing and would love to have a home with a piano!
Amelia and Mary are two very different but equally talented sisters, who will settle in quickly to their new family.
Please tell me hoe Amelia and Mary get on with you.

Your new children and brothers are nine year old Charles Shane, five year old George Timothy, and three year old Arthur Bobbie.
Charlie, George and Arthur come from a troubled violent background and were taken into emergency care two years ago. All three boys are very boisterous and love to run around outdoors.
Charlie is the leader of these brothers, he gives support, chastisments and punishments to his younger brothers, you will have to help him to let go of this 'father' figure he has adopted. Although he can seem like an impossible child at times once he learns he can trust you he should eventually settle down.
George is the quieter brother, although he has his fair share of tantrums he can usually be easily soothed and warms to people very quickly. He is doing well at school and makes friends eaily.
Although little Arthur is very small for his age he more than makes up with it in noise! Into evreything, Arthur is learning to trust adults again and is currently seeing how far he can go! Arthur is a charmer and will play up to his cuteness! so watch out, for a three year old he can be surprisingly manipulative!
All three boys with time and stability will be a joy to have around, continued counselling should ensure they come to terms with their sad past, and they should grow up to be adults to be proud of.
Please tell me how Charlie, George and Arthur are getting on with you.

Your new children and brothers are 5 year old Edward Brett and 2 year old Thomas Alec.
Edward and Tommie are two brothers who despratly need a loving, secure, stable home. Raised in a home with violence and abuse, the two boys can be very nervous of people at first, but will soon try to push boundaries and test people out. Once settled however, these boys can be very loving and will do well both academically and socially at school and playschool. Both Edward and Tommie miss there older siblings and will respect and love having older children around.
Please tell me how Edward and Thomas get along with you.

Your new children are 19 month old twin girls Johanna Iona and Pippa Islay and 6 year old Heidi Skye.
Johanna and Pippa's mother couldn't cope with the twins, she felt distant from them and didn't love them. The visiting midwife voiced her concerns when she saw the neglect and it was agreed they would go up for adoption. Johanna and Pippa are developmentally normal and are a pair of happy, smiling little girls who share a deep bond with each other.
Heidi is six years old and is the only surving member of her large family, who tragically died in a house fire two years ago, Heidi at the time was at a sleepover. It has taken two years of counselling for Heidi to come to terms with her loss and is now ready for a permanent home. Heidi is very shy but very bright, she would love younger siblings so this is why we are putting her up for adoption with the twins.
Please tell us how Heidi, Johanna and Pippa get along with you.

We are doing great!
Heidi is such a sweet little girl. She started school this year, and although she's very she sometimes, she already made a lot of friends. Heidi loves to help me take care of the twins. She tells a lot of stories to them. the twins love their big sister very much.
Jo, as we started to call Johanna, and Pippa have such sweet smiles. They are happy almost all the time. Pippa can be a bit bossy towards Jo, but Jo, on the other hand, can also be bossy towards Pippa.
Overall, our family is doing just great!
Thank you for everything,
Brandon and Anne macAndrew
with Heidi (6), Jo (1½) and Pippa (1½)

Your new children are 6 year old quads, Ivan Dale, Rosie Heather, Hazel Tamsyn and Sephy Judith.
Ivan, Rosie, Hazel and Sephy are delighful quads, who despite there tough start in the world have no real difficulties. The quads are full of boundless energy and love anything active, swimming, climbing, running, walking, you name it they love it!
When there surrogate mother gave birth to them six years ago, she was faced with a difficult dilemma. The real parents unfortunately died in a tragic car crash just 2 weeks before they were born, their surrogate mother already had six children and couldn't handle another four, so they were put up fo adoption. Unfortunatley it has been very hard to find a place for all four, so they have been in foster care since, waiting for the right person to come along.
Please tell me how Ivan, Rosie, Hazel and Sephy get along with you.

We are doing great! The last 6 months have been hectic, but I wouldn't give it up for anything!
Here's the basic story so far:-
They have so much energy, so I take them to local swimmming pools, PCYC centres, parks and more.
They have just started pre-school.
I would have liked to put them in school at the right age...but they were already 6 when they arrived, and I thought it would be a bit hard to put them in school when they just arrived in a new place.
They are all very smart, and would definalt have been above their age level if they were in school this year.
IVAN:- is definalty a boy! He loves to play football and soccor. He also loves to get all dirty. He can sometime be a little bit rough with the girls
ROSIE:- seems like she is older than her brother and sister. She is always looking after them and caring for them. She is a wonderful helper
HAZEL:- loves to play dress ups and dolls. Although sometimes, she forgets her "girly-girl" personalitiy, and goes to play with Ivan in sports and in dirt.
SEPHY:- is definatly a mum's girl. She is very shy, and is the smallest out of the 4. She can be a great helper, and mainly plays with Rosie, who isn't too rough
Well that's all for now!

Thankyou for telling me how Ivan, Rosie, Hazel and Sephy are doing. It sounds like there adoption has been a resounding success and all four are settling in nicely with you.
I am sure they will do well at school once they start and with your continued support should flourish.
Ivan and Hazel have always had a love hate relationship, it is funny to hear how Hazel will get dirty from time to time, it means she feels truly comfortable with you to be herself.
I am glad Rosie and Sephy's relationship is still close, i hope this continues long into the future.
Good luck Samantha, Ivan, Rosie, Hazel and Sephy
