The Hill Household
This family moved to the area twelve years ago, when they were expecting their son.Joshua works as a high school English teacher, while Evangeline has a successful business selling her handmade jewellery online. Their son is a passionate (and talented) swimmer who competes at a district level, and their daughter has a creative streak and loves to help her mum with her jewellery designs.

The Boudreaux Household
Madeleine is from France (as was her late husband), and moved to this area shortly after the birth of Jean-Christophe, their only child, in the 70s. She has lived with her son and daughter-in-law since the death of her husband ten years ago, and she dotes on all three of her grandchildren. Adélaïde is quiet and studious and hopes to become a doctor; Raphaël is mostly interested in his Xbox these days; and Rosalie, the baby of the family, is a keen musician. Jean-Christophe and Libby opened a bakery together several years ago, and are grateful that Madeleine is able to help look after the children.

The Meijer-Rose Household
Fern is a nature photographer and Maria is a nurse; they are both natives of the area, but first met when on holiday in South Africa. They hit it off instantly, and moved in together in this neighbourhood before getting married. They recently adopted their son, a five-year-old boy - they did not change his first name, but were able to choose a middle name for him.

The Ashworth-Vandenberg Household
Once upon a time, Edge was the guitarist of a relatively popular rock band. Now, the band has fallen apart, and he makes his living by giving guitar lessons. He has three adult children from previous relationships, and two kids with his current long-term girlfriend, an architect from the Netherlands. Soraya dreams of being a famous musician like her father, and he's been teaching her the guitar; Pax couldn't care less about music, and instead aspires to become a dinosaur, or, failing that, a paleontologist.

This family only recently moved to the area, deciding they needed a bigger home after welcoming their twin daughters. Elliot recently quit his job in order to become a stay-at-home dad, while Hermione is a talented chef working at a well-known restaurant. Elliot has decided that although the twins are only a year old, they're both definitely troublemakers with a penchant for mischief!
