1.This is my daughter, Madison Scout. She goes by Scout.
Scout says: If you tell anyone my real name is Madison, I'll slaughter you.
You say: Don't worry, kid, you're secret's safe with me.
You think: Scout isn't great, but I'd rather go by Scout than Madison, too!
2.This is my son, Evan Russell.
Evan says: I hate my middle name.
You say: That's too bad; I think Russell's a great name!
You think: Much better than Evan.
3.This is my daughter, Gabriela Eva. She goes by Gabby.
Gabby says: I'm from Mexico and proud of it!

4.This is my daughter, Sarah Catherine.
Sarah says nothing. (She's too shy.)

You think: Classic and boring.
5.This is my daughter, Yesenia Oliva. (whispers) she's blind.
Yesenia says: Hi. Yeah, I'm blind, so what?
You say: Yeah, Yesenia, so what? Lot's of people are blind. Great name, btw.
You think: What's with the mom? Yesenia's blind, not deaf; why would she make sure I noticed her daughter's disability?
6.This is my daughter, Kayle Rachelle.
Kayle says: I wish I had a less girly name and it was spelled normally, but whatever.
You say: We all have things we'd like to change about our names, Kayle. When I was your age, I wanted to change the spelling of my name from Korrine to Korrynn so people would pronounce it right!
You think: I like Kayle, but she's right, it could be spelled better.
7.This is my daughter, Brittany Jean.

9.This is my son, Russell Adam.
Russell says: Hey, my initials spell RAM, isn't that so cool?!?
You say: Yeah, kid, and my initials spell KARB. My friends' initials spell HAG and SAG. Oh, and if you take the first initial of my dad's name, my brother's names & my name, it actually spells my dad's name. Now THAT'S cool.
You think: LOL, he's just like me as a kid.
