Venice
Lazaro Zanfrancesco Foscari
Hair: Curly, Dark Brown
Eyes: Amber
Occupation: Goldsmith
Simona Bassana (Premarin) Foscari
Hair: Straight, Light Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Occupation: Artist
Lazaro and Simona's marriage was arranged by their fathers and they had only met a handful of times when the wedding took place. Lazaro's family had been goldsmiths for generations and quite successful ones at that. Besides learning the family trade, Lazaro had been finely educated and lived with all of the modern luxuries of 1400s Venice.
Simona had also been brought up with a considerable about to wealth and while she had not been educated in a school, she had been taught all of the things a woman of her station was expected to know- sewing, weaving, baking, household and wealth management, and religion.
They were married when Lazaro was nineteen and Simona was sixteen and they built their home together quite ready to show the world what they had to offer, even if to them that mostly meant simply proving themselves to their families.
Year 1
Almost as soon as Lazaro and Simona are married, Simona shows interest in reviving her interest in pottery making. While Lazaro sees it as a trivial matter, content to let her play around with her hobby so long as she isn't neglecting other aspects of her life, her own family sees it as a slide back into childish ways that they should have never allowed her to cultivate in the first place. Her mother began to stress regularly how much more important it was for her to prepare for children and cater to her husband while her father stressed to her repeatedly that her time would be better spent in prayer and in reciting verses to make her a more morally upright woman. Neither parent was pleased when Simona went right on making pottery and even sent her parents a large, ornate vase for their anniversary.

Year 2
The young Foscari's welcomed their first child a year after their marriage. A young, healthy boy with curly hair and came into the world and was christened Sebastiano Agustin Foscari. The Premarins were happy that their daughter seemed to be better focused on familial duties now that Sebastiano had come along. Lazaro's family was happy to have a male heir to carry on the family's lineage and business.
