Matt and Mary are adjusting to having their children not only out of the house, but scattered across the US. Rachel and Derek do live nearby, which they are very thankful for!
Rachel and Derek are doing well--Rachel has continued to be a stay at home mom--their house has become a prime after-school hangout, mostly because Rachel is home (and has discovered a love of baking yummy treats!). Morgan is in first grade and is looking forward to her seventh birthday in a few weeks. Her younger brother, Lucas, is three. He is very outgoing and loves to be with the neighborhood kids.
Alex and Shawn have been married for almost five years now. They are both still in the Air Force and are currently stationed in California. Their daughter, Maggie, is three. She loves pink and ponies and anything girly.
Josh went into the Air Force after high school, like Alex did. He also went into the Air Force as a married man. He married his high school sweetheart, Haley two weeks after graduation and a week before basic training. Josh and Haley are currently in Florida, but may be traveling internationally sometime in the next few months. Right now, Haley is working part-time at a local coffee shop. They have two small boys, Henry and Isaac. The boys are sometimes mistaken as twins--Henry is a bit small for his age, while Isaac is big. The boys are very close and play together all the time.
