40 Years with the Salo-Klasson-Daalman Family! (Final family list at the end)
Note: I rolled for events every year for the first 10 years, then changed to rolling once for just every five years so the children aged up quicker (since the parents would be unlikely to be having as many kids). ;) When each child turned 18, I rolled to see if they’d get a partner (even=yes, odd=no), and then continued just rolling once for each couple for the 5-year period. (If the couple didn’t get a child event, but the grandparent family’s events included a child event, I gave the child to one of the couples instead of a 50+ parent.)

The project Louisa is working on lost some funding so some of her hours are cut.
YEAR 2 - Petra Wiktora - straight, black hair & brown eyes
Louisa is promoted and is now a supervisor.
YEAR 3 - Anneli Ragna - straight, blonde hair & hazel eyes
Louisa is at work more now since her promotion so the family hires a nanny, Valiantsina Mariya Novitsky [19], a university student from Belarus, who moves in to live with them. She has straight, brown hair & blue eyes.
Veli takes a new job in his field and becomes a screenwriter.
YEAR 4 - The couple try to get pregnant again (Louisa said she wants to have all of their children close together so they will still be young after the kids grow up) but don’t conceive.
YEAR 5 - Louisa is promoted again and is now a regional supervisor.
YEAR 6 - Louisa still wants to have another baby. They try again to get pregnant but have no success.
YEAR 7 - It’s Valiantsina, the live-in nanny, who has a baby this time though she doesn’t mention who her son’s father is. Sebastian Valiantsin Novitsky has straight, black hair and blue eyes.
Veli quits his current screenwriting job, saying it’s keeping him too much away from home with meetings, and begins a new novel.
YEAR 8 - Louisa finally gets pregnant. Their son Sakari Wincent has straight, blonde hair & hazel eyes.
Funding isn’t good again for the non-profit Louisa works for and her pay is cut as a result.
YEAR 9
It’s another girl for Louisa and Veli! Sylvi Teresa has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes.
Veli and Louisa’s second-oldest had been experiencing dysphoria for a few years, and they are sure now that he is transgender. He finally asked to not be called Petra anymore and instead wants to change his name to Patrik.
Louisa receives another promotion, getting a job at a government environmental agency.
YEAR 10 - Louisa discovers Veli and Valiantsina in a compromising position, and he admits that their affair began the year after she moved in with them. It’d been really quite obvious since Sebastian was born, given that he looks very much like his – now-confirmed – father, and Veli was afraid Louisa would realize it, but she either didn’t suspect or inwardly didn’t want to see it, and so they carried on. Veli swears that he loves both of them, and doesn’t want to lose her, but now that things have come out so obviously Louisa can’t ignore it and files for divorce. Veli and Valiantsina get married and have Sebastian’s surname legally changed to Salo.
YEAR 11 - Salo family: Veli and Valiantsina have another boy! Aleksandr Fiodar has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes.
Salo-Klasson family: Sakari and Sylvi have a huge argument over their toys one day and Slyvi hurls a wooden block at her brother, which tragically ends up blinding him in one eye.
Louisa switches to a new job within her career field, becoming a professor of environmental science.
YEAR 12
Salo family: The Salos get a pet cat that the kids name Ukko.
Sebastian is having some trouble at school, and they think he may have a slight learning delay, so he’s working with a therapist.
Valiantsina gets a pay raise at her interior design firm.
Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa got remarried! She met Jakob, who is originally from the Netherlands, when she went out walking during her lunch break at work. He is a kinesiologist who is frequently at the university helping with the sports teams.

YEAR 13 - Salo family: Valiantsina’s interior design successes got the attention of a fashion designer who asked to hire her to collaborate. It’s a profession she’d always been interested in, so she took the plunge, changing her career field.
Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa and Jakob have had a baby girl! Caroline Isabeau has curly, brown hair & blue eyes just like her father.
Louisa has begun another new job within her career field. She specialized and got her doctorate and is now working as a Climatologist.
YEAR 14 - Salo family: Sebastian is still having trouble at school and is diagnosed as having dyslexia. He’s continuing his focused therapy. Valiantsina gets a promotion and is now working as co-designer on a minor, but well-liked, fashion label.
Daalman-Klasson family: Jakob gets a raise in pay.
YEAR 15 – Salo family: Valiantsina would like another child, and they began trying again but haven’t gotten pregnant so far. Veli took up woodworking, a hobby and skill he’d been interested in for years but never made the time for. He also got a raise in the form of a larger advance for his future novels as his books have grown quite popular.

Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa and Jakob thought they probably have enough children, but one more couldn’t hurt and tried but didn’t conceive. The kids had been begging for a pet, and their wishes have been answered. They adopted a dog they re-named Kajsa.
YEAR 20 – Salo family: The Salos tried IVF after not being able to conceive last round and have just had fraternal twin boys! Daniel Zmitra has straight, brown hair & blue eyes and Leanid Bjarne has wavy, brown hair & hazel eyes. Valiantsina got another promotion at work.
Daalman-Klasson family: While they haven’t made steps to prevent another pregnancy, the couple hasn’t conceived. Anneli sprains her ankle while playing soccer and when it doesn’t seem to be healing they take to to the doctor again and find out that she has leukemia! She’s undergoing treatment and the family is scared, but very hopeful that she will pull through. Christer is going to school for journalism. Patrick is studying veterinary medicine and has a job as a veterinary technician.
YEAR 25 - Salo family: Valiantsina’s mother passed away suddenly from a heart attack while gardening and the family traveled to Belarus for her funeral. After returning, Valiantsina decided to cut her hours back at the design firm to simplify her life and make time for what really matters in life.
Daalman-Klasson family: It’s a surprise baby! After all of these years doing nothing to not have a baby, Louisa figured she was unable anymore (though she hadn’t gone through menopause yet) and all of a sudden found out she was pregnant! It’s a boy this time, which Jakob is pleased about that he has one of each now. Xaviel Benjamin has curly, blonde hair & blue eyes. Jakob also has a new job; he transferred his kinesiology experience into a related career as a physical therapist. Anneli, who recovered from her leukemia, but spent a lot of time reading and on computers in hospital and at home, put that to her advantage toward a career and is now a software developer.
- Christer met his girlfriend Maiken Eir Losnedahl at university. She is a preschool teacher from Norway and they’re living together now. She has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes. They also just had a baby boy! Emrik Ysten has straight, black hair & hazel eyes like his father and grandfather.
YEAR 30 – Salo family: Sebastian became bored with computer programming and switched his studies to engineering and got a new job as an Architect. Aleksandr got a job as a fitness instructor.
Daalman-Klasson family: Sylvi came out to her family as bisexual.
- Christer and Maiken had another baby, Stellan Isak, who is two now and has straight, blonde hair & hazel eyes.
- Patrik got married this year! His wife Caoilinn Isibéal (O'Shea), who is from Ireland, has straight, black hair & green eyes. She is a Sous Chef who hopes to one day own her own restaurant. Unfortunately, shortly after their marriage Caoilinn’s father passed away.
- Anneli was married last year to her boyfriend Stefan Finn Nyberg, who has curly, black hair & brown eyes. He’s also Swedish and they met at work; he’s an Information Security Analyst. They were surprised to find out shortly after their honeymoon that Anneli was pregnant! Because of her cancer, she didn’t think that she would be able to have children naturally. They’re overjoyed and just welcomed their son Ragnar Tomas (named after his mother’s middle name), who has curly, black hair & blue eyes.
- Sakari studied acting in school and has had some mild success so far since graduating. He finds that his bad eye often gets him “rakish” and “antihero” type rolls, which he thinks is fun. He’s dating a girl he met while on holiday in Spain, Perla Violeta Rendón. She’s a psychology student with straight, brown hair & brown eyes. Even though they’re currently in a long-distance relationship, that didn’t stop a little one from appearing! It may have been an accident of youth that they weren’t exactly prepared for, but they’re nonetheless happy to have just had a daughter, Marina Natalia Salo-Rendón. Her middle name was chosen to honor Perla’s grandmother that she was very close to and who sadly passed away this year before the baby arrived.
- Sylvi takes after her mother’s scientific side and is an epidemiology student. She’s dating Brooke Simone Bentley, an American currently on tour in Sweden with her dance troupe, who has curly, red hair & blue eyes. They’re having a great time, although fun comes with a cost – Sylvi’s hours at her part-time job were cut back a bit due to her recent inconsistency. She’d occasionally been late due to staying out until the wee hours with Brooke, or left work early to meet up with her. But Sylvi isn’t too concerned about it – ah, youth!
YEAR 35 – Salo family: Leanid is having trouble at school in math so he’s being tutored.
- Sebastian got married to Amelie Margarete Lohrenz, who has straight blonde hair & blue eyes. They live in Switzerland, where Amelie is from. Amelie was a Television Art Director, though she quit when their daughter was born two years ago. Helena Valerie has straight, brown hair & blue eyes. Amelie’s mother, Greta, moved in with them last year since it’s getting harder for her to get around and be on her own and she could help out with Helena.
- Aleksandr is dating Freyja Agnes Þórirsson, an Icelandic Speech Language Pathologist with straight, red hair & grey eyes. They started to try for a baby but haven’t had any luck yet. When Aleksandr got a promotion and his fitness company wanted to move him to Canada help opening some new branches there they decided it was a good time before kids come to make a change, so they moved.
Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa gets sick and the kids are concerned, but it turns out to be just a brief illness and she’s fine.
- Christer and Maiken welcomed a daughter! Gry Idun Salo is now a lively three-year-old and has straight, black hair & hazel eyes. Maiken got a promotion at the school where she works this year.
- Patrick’s wife, Caoilinn got tired of the hectic pace in the culinary field and switched her knives for instruments. She’s now a folk musician and enjoying the creativity and slower pace of a musician’s life.
- Anneli and Stefan had a little girl two years ago, Wilja Ingalise Nyberg . She’s got her father’s curly, black hair & brown eyes. Anneli got a promotion and Stefan took up tabletop gaming as a hobby when his wife told him he needed to do something fun now and then.
- Marina’s kindergarten teacher told Sakari and Perla that she was having some speech issues at school and they’re having her work with a therapist that has confidence they’ve gotten to it early and she should be able to work them out with some time. Sakari negotiated a promotion of larger salary when he’s booked for an acting job.
- Sylvi wanted to learn a new skill and has taken up digital photography as a hobby. She has also has taken a new job within her career field as an Epidemiology Investigator.
- Caroline, who just graduated from university and is a social worker, also just moved to Greece where her fiancé is from. Shortly after her move she gave birth to their baby girl! Rafail Angelos Iordanu is a statistician and their daughter is Thalia Evelina Iordanu. Both have curly, brown hair & brown eyes.
YEAR 40 – FINAL YEAR
Salo family:
- Sebastian and Amelie have another daughter, Krista Zoe, who has curly, blonde hair and blue eyes.
- Aleksandr and Freyja have their first child, a girl, Janika Fríða Salwho has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes. Sadly, Aleksandr has an accident with the weights at work which paralyses him and he now must use a wheelchair. Being in the fitness industry, this is a hard blow for him but he’s determined to stay active and not let it limit him.
- Daniel is at university on a football (soccer) scholarship and got some attention from scouts so it looks like he will become a professional player soon.
- Leanid, Daniel’s twin, is a civil engineering student and is in a serious relationship now with a Turkish student at his university, Ceren Reşide Binici. Once, they thought that she got pregnant, but it was a false alarm. So when it happened again they didn’t think much of it. But this time it wasn’t and they just had a baby boy with curly, black hair & hazel eyes, who they named Ender Taneli (his middle name is a nod to his uncle and father). The couple takes the new baby to Leanid’s father’s Finnish family reunion and nobody can get enough of little Ender.
Daalman-Klasson family:
- Christer and Maiken were using birth control, thinking they were done having kids, but apparently it is only 99% effective because last year little Karin Mathilda was born last year. She has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes and her siblings say that it’s perfect because now there’s two boys and two girls. He also has a new job within his career field. Both parents are teaching now that Christer has become a professor of journalism.
- Patrick and Caoilinn decided the time was right for children and decided on IVF this time (donor had straight, black hair and grey eyes). They just welcomed their daughter, Ellinor Caoimhe who has curly, black hair & green eyes. Patrick finished his degree which prompted a promotion; he’s now a veterinarian.
- Anneli and Stefan had another child, a boy, August Kalle. He has straight, black hair & hazel eyes.
- Perla wanted more action in her job while she’s still young and made a career switch to become a paramedic. Her psychology background helps her relate to patients in the field and often identify things that her colleagues might not as quickly.
- Sylvi and Brooke’s relationship had been a bit rocky when she traveled to Paris with Brooke when she was on tour dancing there. Unfortunately, being in the “city of love” didn’t help, only added stress and they broke up. Brooke moved back to America when the tour was over. Sylvi, however, happened to meet Laurine Charlotte Fay, who has wavy, brown hair & grey eyes, at a café and they started chatting when they discovered that they were both in the medical field (Laurine is a neonatal nurse). They hit it off, began a long-distance relationship, and Sylvi ended up transferring to France where they both now live and just got engaged. They wanted to start a family right away and applied for an adoption but it hasn’t been approved yet. They’re disappointed, but know that they’re young and have time. Sylvi receives a pay raise.
- Caroline and Rafail had a son three years ago, Andreas Mikhael, with curly, brown hair & brown eyes. Unfortunately, in the intervening years, their relationship has broken down and they’ve grown apart. Caroline made the difficult decision to move back to Sweden with the kids to be nearer her family. She hasn’t entered into a new relationship yet but hopes to some day.

YEAR 13 - Salo family: Valiantsina’s interior design successes got the attention of a fashion designer who asked to hire her to collaborate. It’s a profession she’d always been interested in, so she took the plunge, changing her career field.
Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa and Jakob have had a baby girl! Caroline Isabeau has curly, brown hair & blue eyes just like her father.
Louisa has begun another new job within her career field. She specialized and got her doctorate and is now working as a Climatologist.
YEAR 14 - Salo family: Sebastian is still having trouble at school and is diagnosed as having dyslexia. He’s continuing his focused therapy. Valiantsina gets a promotion and is now working as co-designer on a minor, but well-liked, fashion label.
Daalman-Klasson family: Jakob gets a raise in pay.
YEAR 15 – Salo family: Valiantsina would like another child, and they began trying again but haven’t gotten pregnant so far. Veli took up woodworking, a hobby and skill he’d been interested in for years but never made the time for. He also got a raise in the form of a larger advance for his future novels as his books have grown quite popular.
- Sebastian is studying to be a computer programmer
Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa and Jakob thought they probably have enough children, but one more couldn’t hurt and tried but didn’t conceive. The kids had been begging for a pet, and their wishes have been answered. They adopted a dog they re-named Kajsa.
YEAR 20 – Salo family: The Salos tried IVF after not being able to conceive last round and have just had fraternal twin boys! Daniel Zmitra has straight, brown hair & blue eyes and Leanid Bjarne has wavy, brown hair & hazel eyes. Valiantsina got another promotion at work.
Daalman-Klasson family: While they haven’t made steps to prevent another pregnancy, the couple hasn’t conceived. Anneli sprains her ankle while playing soccer and when it doesn’t seem to be healing they take to to the doctor again and find out that she has leukemia! She’s undergoing treatment and the family is scared, but very hopeful that she will pull through. Christer is going to school for journalism. Patrick is studying veterinary medicine and has a job as a veterinary technician.
YEAR 25 - Salo family: Valiantsina’s mother passed away suddenly from a heart attack while gardening and the family traveled to Belarus for her funeral. After returning, Valiantsina decided to cut her hours back at the design firm to simplify her life and make time for what really matters in life.
Daalman-Klasson family: It’s a surprise baby! After all of these years doing nothing to not have a baby, Louisa figured she was unable anymore (though she hadn’t gone through menopause yet) and all of a sudden found out she was pregnant! It’s a boy this time, which Jakob is pleased about that he has one of each now. Xaviel Benjamin has curly, blonde hair & blue eyes. Jakob also has a new job; he transferred his kinesiology experience into a related career as a physical therapist. Anneli, who recovered from her leukemia, but spent a lot of time reading and on computers in hospital and at home, put that to her advantage toward a career and is now a software developer.
- Christer met his girlfriend Maiken Eir Losnedahl at university. She is a preschool teacher from Norway and they’re living together now. She has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes. They also just had a baby boy! Emrik Ysten has straight, black hair & hazel eyes like his father and grandfather.
YEAR 30 – Salo family: Sebastian became bored with computer programming and switched his studies to engineering and got a new job as an Architect. Aleksandr got a job as a fitness instructor.
Daalman-Klasson family: Sylvi came out to her family as bisexual.
- Christer and Maiken had another baby, Stellan Isak, who is two now and has straight, blonde hair & hazel eyes.
- Patrik got married this year! His wife Caoilinn Isibéal (O'Shea), who is from Ireland, has straight, black hair & green eyes. She is a Sous Chef who hopes to one day own her own restaurant. Unfortunately, shortly after their marriage Caoilinn’s father passed away.
- Anneli was married last year to her boyfriend Stefan Finn Nyberg, who has curly, black hair & brown eyes. He’s also Swedish and they met at work; he’s an Information Security Analyst. They were surprised to find out shortly after their honeymoon that Anneli was pregnant! Because of her cancer, she didn’t think that she would be able to have children naturally. They’re overjoyed and just welcomed their son Ragnar Tomas (named after his mother’s middle name), who has curly, black hair & blue eyes.
- Sakari studied acting in school and has had some mild success so far since graduating. He finds that his bad eye often gets him “rakish” and “antihero” type rolls, which he thinks is fun. He’s dating a girl he met while on holiday in Spain, Perla Violeta Rendón. She’s a psychology student with straight, brown hair & brown eyes. Even though they’re currently in a long-distance relationship, that didn’t stop a little one from appearing! It may have been an accident of youth that they weren’t exactly prepared for, but they’re nonetheless happy to have just had a daughter, Marina Natalia Salo-Rendón. Her middle name was chosen to honor Perla’s grandmother that she was very close to and who sadly passed away this year before the baby arrived.
- Sylvi takes after her mother’s scientific side and is an epidemiology student. She’s dating Brooke Simone Bentley, an American currently on tour in Sweden with her dance troupe, who has curly, red hair & blue eyes. They’re having a great time, although fun comes with a cost – Sylvi’s hours at her part-time job were cut back a bit due to her recent inconsistency. She’d occasionally been late due to staying out until the wee hours with Brooke, or left work early to meet up with her. But Sylvi isn’t too concerned about it – ah, youth!
YEAR 35 – Salo family: Leanid is having trouble at school in math so he’s being tutored.
- Sebastian got married to Amelie Margarete Lohrenz, who has straight blonde hair & blue eyes. They live in Switzerland, where Amelie is from. Amelie was a Television Art Director, though she quit when their daughter was born two years ago. Helena Valerie has straight, brown hair & blue eyes. Amelie’s mother, Greta, moved in with them last year since it’s getting harder for her to get around and be on her own and she could help out with Helena.
- Aleksandr is dating Freyja Agnes Þórirsson, an Icelandic Speech Language Pathologist with straight, red hair & grey eyes. They started to try for a baby but haven’t had any luck yet. When Aleksandr got a promotion and his fitness company wanted to move him to Canada help opening some new branches there they decided it was a good time before kids come to make a change, so they moved.
Daalman-Klasson family: Louisa gets sick and the kids are concerned, but it turns out to be just a brief illness and she’s fine.
- Christer and Maiken welcomed a daughter! Gry Idun Salo is now a lively three-year-old and has straight, black hair & hazel eyes. Maiken got a promotion at the school where she works this year.
- Patrick’s wife, Caoilinn got tired of the hectic pace in the culinary field and switched her knives for instruments. She’s now a folk musician and enjoying the creativity and slower pace of a musician’s life.
- Anneli and Stefan had a little girl two years ago, Wilja Ingalise Nyberg . She’s got her father’s curly, black hair & brown eyes. Anneli got a promotion and Stefan took up tabletop gaming as a hobby when his wife told him he needed to do something fun now and then.
- Marina’s kindergarten teacher told Sakari and Perla that she was having some speech issues at school and they’re having her work with a therapist that has confidence they’ve gotten to it early and she should be able to work them out with some time. Sakari negotiated a promotion of larger salary when he’s booked for an acting job.
- Sylvi wanted to learn a new skill and has taken up digital photography as a hobby. She has also has taken a new job within her career field as an Epidemiology Investigator.
- Caroline, who just graduated from university and is a social worker, also just moved to Greece where her fiancé is from. Shortly after her move she gave birth to their baby girl! Rafail Angelos Iordanu is a statistician and their daughter is Thalia Evelina Iordanu. Both have curly, brown hair & brown eyes.
YEAR 40 – FINAL YEAR
Salo family:
- Sebastian and Amelie have another daughter, Krista Zoe, who has curly, blonde hair and blue eyes.
- Aleksandr and Freyja have their first child, a girl, Janika Fríða Salwho has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes. Sadly, Aleksandr has an accident with the weights at work which paralyses him and he now must use a wheelchair. Being in the fitness industry, this is a hard blow for him but he’s determined to stay active and not let it limit him.
- Daniel is at university on a football (soccer) scholarship and got some attention from scouts so it looks like he will become a professional player soon.
- Leanid, Daniel’s twin, is a civil engineering student and is in a serious relationship now with a Turkish student at his university, Ceren Reşide Binici. Once, they thought that she got pregnant, but it was a false alarm. So when it happened again they didn’t think much of it. But this time it wasn’t and they just had a baby boy with curly, black hair & hazel eyes, who they named Ender Taneli (his middle name is a nod to his uncle and father). The couple takes the new baby to Leanid’s father’s Finnish family reunion and nobody can get enough of little Ender.
Daalman-Klasson family:
- Christer and Maiken were using birth control, thinking they were done having kids, but apparently it is only 99% effective because last year little Karin Mathilda was born last year. She has straight, brown hair & hazel eyes and her siblings say that it’s perfect because now there’s two boys and two girls. He also has a new job within his career field. Both parents are teaching now that Christer has become a professor of journalism.
- Patrick and Caoilinn decided the time was right for children and decided on IVF this time (donor had straight, black hair and grey eyes). They just welcomed their daughter, Ellinor Caoimhe who has curly, black hair & green eyes. Patrick finished his degree which prompted a promotion; he’s now a veterinarian.
- Anneli and Stefan had another child, a boy, August Kalle. He has straight, black hair & hazel eyes.
- Perla wanted more action in her job while she’s still young and made a career switch to become a paramedic. Her psychology background helps her relate to patients in the field and often identify things that her colleagues might not as quickly.
- Sylvi and Brooke’s relationship had been a bit rocky when she traveled to Paris with Brooke when she was on tour dancing there. Unfortunately, being in the “city of love” didn’t help, only added stress and they broke up. Brooke moved back to America when the tour was over. Sylvi, however, happened to meet Laurine Charlotte Fay, who has wavy, brown hair & grey eyes, at a café and they started chatting when they discovered that they were both in the medical field (Laurine is a neonatal nurse). They hit it off, began a long-distance relationship, and Sylvi ended up transferring to France where they both now live and just got engaged. They wanted to start a family right away and applied for an adoption but it hasn’t been approved yet. They’re disappointed, but know that they’re young and have time. Sylvi receives a pay raise.
- Caroline and Rafail had a son three years ago, Andreas Mikhael, with curly, brown hair & brown eyes. Unfortunately, in the intervening years, their relationship has broken down and they’ve grown apart. Caroline made the difficult decision to move back to Sweden with the kids to be nearer her family. She hasn’t entered into a new relationship yet but hopes to some day.
- Xaviel things that he wants to be some sort of artist someday.
