I am a high school english teacher, I teach the honors and AP courses at our nearest private school. Howard is a surgeon, he works at the largest hospital in the nearby city. We live in the suburbs, in a mostly upper-middle class town.
I had our daughter Gretchen six years ago.. there were complications, and as a result, I was told I would most likely not be able to conceive any more children. We tried for a few years, but then decided to start putting our names on adoption lists. We always wanted a large family, and with all the unwanted children in the world.. we decided adoption was definitely the way we wanted to go.
