Dan and Ellie are nearly empty nesters now, with Talia going off to college next year.
Ana is now "Miss Rey", a kindergarten teacher, after attending Florida College for four years. She and her new husband, Jackson Charles Carter, a Nuclear Medical Technologist, live just five minutes from Dan and Ellie, and Ana is expecting their first child, a boy they plan to name Oliver Daniel.
Lily shares her father's love of food, but chose to become a food scientist, majoring in Food Science at the University of Delaware on a scholarship for crew, and is now newly employed in Massachusetts.
Celia is now in her first year of vet school at the University of Florida, after also completing her bachelor's degree at UF.
Talia is the only one of the girls to follow in Ellie's footsteps as a figure skater, and will be skating on SUNY Oswego's synchronized team in the coming season, while beginning her studies in pre-law.
