The Basics

Number of family members:
I like to do a husband and wife for the parents, but you are free to do any single or combination of parents/guardians that you like.
For the number of kids, roll the D20.

Kids’ genders: Roll any die.
Even: Girl
Odd: Boy

---

Kids’ ages: Roll a D20 for each kid.

---

Parents’ ages: Any age that is AT LEAST 18 years older than the oldest child’s age.

Suit Colors: Generate, and pick two from the list.

Hair color (10 sided die):
1-2: Red
3-4: Black
5-6: Blonde
7-8: Light Brown
9-10: Dark Brown

Hair texture (6 sided die)
1-2: Straight
3-4: Curly

1: Brown
2: Blue
3: Green
4: Gray
5: Hazel
6: Aqua

Super powers (the fun part!)
Each person has either two powers, or just one. If they have only one power, it will be twice as strong.

Number of powers: Roll any die.
Odd: One
Even: Two

Power Types: 12 sided die. Roll twice if the person has two powers.
(There are actually a few more than this, but I’ve limited this to the most common ones for simplicity’s sake.)

1: Aeros- control air and wind. Can also fly.

---

2: Aquatics- control and create water

---

3: Botanicals- control and create plants

---

4: Disappearers- Can turn themselves, objects and others invisible

---

5: Electricals- Control and create electricity and light

---

6: Embers- Control and create fire

---

7: Fighters- Enhanced physical abilities, inclding strength, speed, and stamina.

8: Icers- Control and create ice and snow

---

9: Metallics- Control and create metal objects

---

10: Psychics- Can read minds, predict the future, and perform telekinesis

---

11: Shifters- Can change their appearance, and also change into animals.

---

12: Teleporters- Can instantly move themselves, others, and objects to desired locations

Names

---

Roll a six sided die.
Do this once for the family’s surname and once for the first and middle of each family member.

Location
Generally, superhumans can live anywhere, as they are the dominant population in this world. However, we will be narrowing it down to some key locations within the story- namely, places in North America.

Growing Up Children
