Re: Smiley Angel Adoption Centre (slightly different to others)
in reply to a message by Rose
Theodore Henry and Harry James, 4, are twin boys from England. Their teenage mother was forced to give them up by social services after leaving them 'accidentally' in a lift alone for an hour and then smacking them for crying. Theo and Harry are lovely children but need help to become more confident. Their mothers beatings have made the boys strong and falling over leaves them laughing. Theo likes football but Harry prefers basketball. Whatever they are doing, they love being outside.Lucia Eloisa, 3, is from Spain, her sister, Ana Encarnita, 1, is her only family. They will come together and mostl like playing with dolls and teddies. Their mother, Paloma, had to give them up when she ran out of money and couldn't look after them properly. She would like to come and stay with you occasionally to see how they're doing. Ana can't remember anything but Lucia knows her mother and carries a photo everywhere with her.**miss_smiley**

AD: Ana EncarnitaNathan is a calm, even-toned person and I have hardly ever seen him without him looking perfectly groomed, however he is estatic about Theo and James, in fact I think the boys are almost better for him then he is for them. Nathan works most of the day but when he gets home in the evenings he loves to toss around the football with them for a while or just tusseling around on the grass. I think having a father helped them a lot with their confidence that they would no longer be abused.
Though they were rather wary around me in the beginning it didn't take them long to warm up especially as I am at home with them all day (I work as a Editor and while many times I have to go to the office, most of the times I can work at home). Often times they will sit in the study with me while I am working. I soon starting reading the mystery stories aloud to them and explaining which parts I was changing and why. Theo caught on very quickly and enjoyed sitting next to me while I worked, while James was more active not liking to sit for too long would soon be playing with logos or knex. With that in mind I made sure not to spend too much time working in my study and would go out with the boys to walk to the park and started to have them teach me how to play football. That really loosened them up, though James prefers Basketball we had no hoop at the time (though it wasn't long before we got one) so they starting teaching me how to throw and catch and couldn't help laughing at some of my abysmal attempts. It was almost a week after the boys arrived that the girls came.
