When Aston & Azalea were driving down the dark country road one night they found a skinny mutt. She had no collar or anything to indicate she had an owner. Aston knew then she was meant to be in their family. Azalea was hesitant but fell in love with Nelle as she licked her face. Efrat didn't think it was good for the baby but Nelle was gentle with Kinley. Nelle & Kinley got close quickly.

Azalea fell pregnant unexpectedly & gave birth to India. Efrat was excited again, she was happy that India got her violet eyes. Aston & India seemed to bond very well & Nelle was excited to have a new addition. Kinley was curious about who this small human was & bonded well with India.

Sadly Efrat died from a heart attack this year. She died peacefully in her sleep & it was very hard for Aston to cope with. Azalea & the girls watched sadly as Aston fell apart for a few months. Azalea finally realized her differences with Efrat were petty & missed her dearly.

Aston realized being an athletic trainer wasn't what he truly wanted. He quit is job abruptly & became a freelance artist. His pay didn't take a hit instead it was raised, Aston realized he was a very good artist. India took up painting with her father & loved it.
