Bertran, Emma’s widow, and his second wife Branwyne had two more children, Daniel and Matilda. Elodia, Bertain and Emma’s eldest, married Stephen, Viscount of Pont and they had a daughter, Isabella. King Miles and Queen Audrey finally had a son, Prince Augustine. Elspeth’s second husband Richard passed away and she has once again remarried, this time to Owain, Count Coliar, who inherits her other titles as she had no children with her second and third husbands. Steven, Juliet’s husband, divorced her on grounds of barrenness. Juliet, now being 30 years of age, despairs of now ever having a family of her own. Adam and Margaret had another set of twins! Edith and Yvonne join brothers Julian and Alexander. Grata is engaged to Maurice, Duke of Mussegros. He’s often off on some campaign or another, coming home every couple of years, so no one has much noticed that they never got around to an official wedding. They have three children, Peter, Sarah, and newborn Magdalen.
In Caroline and Henry’s extended family, Hugo’s wife of many years, Clemencia, passed away nine years ago now. Hugo remarried a few years later to the Princess of Denmark, Christina. They have three children together, Idony, Alicia, and Paul. Davide is now Duke of Godart and married Cataline of Osmond. Leonia is engaged to King Gregory of Austria, and Henry has been given his father’s title of Viscount Restault. Amelia and Magnus had Andrew, Isolde and Sapphira while James and Agatha added Elfreda to their families. Richard was married to Margaret and they have three children, Emma, Helen, and Teodric (named after Richard’s grandfather the first Duke of Godart).
Beatrice and John are still alive, wed, and well. Theophania’s husband Harald died young, around when their daughter Sapphira was three years old. Theophania remarried Lionel, Viscount Budi, who is a good stepfather, but they haven’t yet had any more children. Roberta married the Viscount Raleigh, Hamnet. They have a two-year-old son, Rufus.
Alewyn and Violante, King and Queen of Italia, are done having children even though they were still fairly young when their youngest was born 10 years ago (8 children was enough!). They are now looking forward to (hopefully soon) becoming grandparents to lots of babies. The two oldest girls have yet to be affianced, but their oldest son, Gabriel, is engaged to Antoinette, the Princess of Burgundy and they will wed this month. She seems like a sweet girl, and they hope union will bring their nations together. Theresa, turning out to be a less manageable and pliable than her elder sisters, has also been paired up in hopes that she will settle down. She will marry Percival, the next Baron Gomboult, in a years’ time. She is not thrilled, but at least she’ll get to travel some more which mollifies her adventurous spirit a bit.
Esme, William’s widow, has not re-married and doesn’t plan to. One wretched marriage was enough, and she is content to enjoy her children. She has tried to make good matches for them despite their somewhat reduced circumstances, based on their family connection to the throne. Martha will wed Lucian, the next Viscount Guildersleeve in two years. Leonard has been promised to Emmeline de la Pole, and will inherit her family duchy as her father has no sons or surviving close male relatives.
Astell, Teodric’s youngest son (note: who wouldn’t inherit the Duke of Godart title, that was my mistake as his older half brother Henry would have. Oops!), was married to the young Viscountess Beauchamp, inheriting her father’s title in a similar situation to Leonard’s future match. The couple have three children, daughter Amy and sons Guillaume and Aubrey.

Theresa, turning out to be a less manageable and pliable than her elder sisters, has also been paired up in hopes that she will settle down. She will marry Percival, the next Baron Gomboult, in a years’ time. She is not thrilled, but at least she’ll get to travel some more which mollifies her adventurous spirit a bit.
Esme, William’s widow, has not re-married and doesn’t plan to. One wretched marriage was enough, and she is content to enjoy her children. She has tried to make good matches for them despite their somewhat reduced circumstances, based on their family connection to the throne. Martha will wed Lucian, the next Viscount Guildersleeve in two years. Leonard has been promised to Emmeline de la Pole, and will inherit her family duchy as her father has no sons or surviving close male relatives.
Astell, Teodric’s youngest son (note: who wouldn’t inherit the Duke of Godart title, that was my mistake as his older half brother Henry would have. Oops!), was married to the young Viscountess Beauchamp, inheriting her father’s title in a similar situation to Leonard’s future match. The couple have three children, daughter Amy and sons Guillaume and Aubrey.
