DH [25]: Nicolas Mathieu Renaud 'Nico' [Straight blond hair, blue eyes, research scientist]
DW [27]: Sara-Minttu (Laaksonen) Renaud 'Sara' [Curly brown hair, green eyes, banker]
Nico and Sara live together in an apartment in London. Nico is French-Canadian, and works as a research scientist with a specialisation in biochemistry - Sara is Finnish, and is a fairly high-level banker. The two have been married for 2 years, and love their lives together.
Year 1 (2019) - London, UK
Sara leaves her old bank and sets up a company. She now works as an independent financial advisor.
Year 2 (2020) - London, UK
Nico and Sara adopt a noisy parrot called Pepper.
Year 3 (2021) - London, UK
Nico finishes his research project, and decides to take on a job as a secondary school physics teacher.

The Renauds adopt a puppy alongside Pepper - Maisie is a very sweet golden retriever pup.

3-year-old Päivä gets a pet hamster for her birthday - she names it Fluffy, creatively.

Clément catches a pretty nasty case of the flu, but thankfully he recovers.
Year 10 (2028) - London, UK
Sadly, Fluffy passes away, and Päivä is quite heartbroken!
Year 11 (2029) - London, UK
Nico is pretty tired of teaching. He decides to quit, and he gets a job with a French-language radio station based in London. Also, Päivä starts primary school!
Year 12 (2030) - London, UK
Nico and Sara argue about his new job a lot - however, they manage to reconcile their differences on the matter.

Nico and Sara agree to host an exchange student from Canada for a year - Philip is popular with the whole family.

Philip ends up staying a year longer than intended because he got along so well with the Renauds.
Year 18 (2036) - London, UK
The Renaud family now have quite a few pets: Pepper the parrot, Maisie the dog (who is now pretty old), the fish, and now a small grey kitten called Terror!
Year 19 (2037) - London, UK
This year, the whole family takes a trip to Helsinki to see Sara's family.
Year 20 (2038) - London, UK
Aged 15, Päivä finds a passion for art, and takes up drawing as a hobby.
Year 21 (2039) - London, UK
Päivä and Clément argue so intensely that they refuse to talk to each other for a week. In the end, Nico and Sara manage to negotiate a truce between the two.
Year 22 (2040) - London, UK
Nico gets a promotion, and is now one of the most senior figures at his radio station.
