Real Life Name The Next Baby!
How about a new game?
Here's how it's played
Post the first names of the children of a family you know or you know to exist in real life. Please do so (roughly) in the format used in NTNB.
Post for each family a fictional newborn (single births or twins are both ok).
Reply AT LEAST to as many people as you put families in your own post.
You can post up to a maximum of 3 families. The ages should roughly match the age differences in the real life situation, but you can adjust the ages of everyone to make it more plausible a new newborn will arrive ;) Please post your families under the original post!
Although this is probably clear, here's an example:
I might post:
DD: Kim (9)
DD: Lesley (7)
DS: Jody (5)
DS: ?
Poster X might reply:
DD: Kim (9)
DD: Lesley (7)
DS: Jody (5)
DS: Sasha (nb)
Poster Y might reply:
DD: Kim (9)
DD: Lesley (7)
DS: Jody (5)
DS: Shannon (nb)

Yeah that's why I clarified, because in name games nb means newborn but I didn't know any other abbreviation to use. (Maybe DC for dear child?)
Yeah, that'd be a good one to use for the future :)
I guess there are still some word that need to start existing in the English language. "My non-binary-child" doesn't quite has the same ring to it as "my son" or "my daughter" has.
