Year 1 - Move (quiz result Denmark)
Ada's job meant relocating to Copenhagen. Unfortunately Liam's job was less transferable, but he is a flexible sort of guy and is willing to support his wife's career path as it takes a successful turn.
Year 2 - Dog (quiz result Border Collie)
After a year in Copenhagen and realizing how dog-friendly the places and people are, Ada and Liam decide to get a dog. They find a rescue border collie mix named Monty. He's friendly, a little on the older side, plenty energetic, and has an annoying habit of snuggling in between the two while they are in bed. He also eats socks.
Year 3 - Travel (quiz result Catskills)
Partially for family visit back to the States, but partially for a long getaway, Ada and Liam book an autumn trip to the Catskills for a bit of hiking, leaf-peeping, scenery, and cozying up by cabin fires.
Year 4 - Birth (quiz results Ivy Joanna)
Soon after New Year, Ada finds out she is pregnant, which is a relief. Although they hadn't actively been trying, she had been off birth control for the past year and a half and she was getting concerned, even though she is only 30. Financially, they aren't in any hardship (thanks in part to the services provided by the Danish government) but need to think about saving for a bigger apartment, as their one-bedroom in Copenhagen is feeling a bit cramped with the new baby gear. Little Ivy Joanna is born on October 2, a bit of a noisemaker and, it seems as she grows older and develops more personality, musically inclined.
Year 5 - Move (quiz result Norway)
This time, it's Liam's job that requires a move, although closer than the last one. They move to Norway, deciding to reside outside Oslo where the job is, closer to a national park.
Year 6 - Birth (quiz result August Eli)
Two months before Ivy's second birthday, August Eli is born on July 19th. They realize quite early on that he is on the whole more active than his sister... a lot more active. Breakable things are very quickly put away when he begins to crawl. Ivy adores him however, and he loves his big sister.
Year 7 - Birth (quiz result Eliza Phoebe)
August turns one, then Ivy turns three, and before long Eliza is added to the bunch in November. She is very sweet but independent, and is soon crawling all over the place. It's not quite three under three, but its a handful nonetheless.
Year 8 - Birth (quiz result Felix Benjamin)
Ada and Liam continue their family with another boy, named Felix, born almost exactly a year after his sister. Ada works from home, but they decide to hire an au pair, at least until August is toilet trained. Luckily Ivy starts nursery school several days a week in the fall that she turns four, which takes some of the daily strain off.
Year 9 - Dog (quiz result Shiba Inu)
A stray dog finds their way into their home. Monty is getting on in years and has mellowed, and seems very taken with his new companion. Rusty is very affectionate, but quiet. At Christmas, they send a full family picture and card out to friends and relatives with updates on how they are all doing. Ivy is five, August is three, Eliza two, and Felix one.
Year 10 - Travel (quiz result Japan)
Ada gets the opportunity to travel to Japan for work, and decides its too good an opportunity to miss bringing the family with her. She and the au pair go first with August and Eliza (ages four and three) so that she can attend the meetings while the kids explore. Liam comes several days later with Ivy, so she doesn't miss too much school, and Felix, age eighteen months.
Year 11 - Birth (quiz result Leo Sebastian)
The children are all doing well, with both Ivy and August in school full-time, and expecting another one in July. Leo Sebastian as the fifth child is more of a presence than easy-going numbers three and four, and wants to keep up with everything his older siblings do. All of the kids are bilingual in Norwegian and English, and speak French at school.
Year 12 - Move (quiz result Ireland)
Norway will always be in their hearts, but they decide to move to Dublin, Ireland, which is where Liam's parents were from. The move is hardest on Ivy and August who will miss their school friends, but Eliza is excited about her new school uniform. Ivy is eight, August six, Eliza five, Felix four, and Leo not quite one.
Year 13 - Birth (quiz result Clare Felicity)
Ada and Liam have equal gender ratio again with a sixth child, a girl. Clare is quiet but very active, always moving about. Leo is happy to have a baby sister with him while everyone else is now in school.
Year 14 - Birth (quiz result Grace Adeline)
Ivy and Eliza think that they should start their own family singing group in the Alps when Ada and Liam have their seventh child, who they decide is their last. Grace is calm and sweet and silly.
Year 15 - Travel (quiz result Argentina)
It's no picnic taking seven children to Argentina, but only two are in diapers, and they have friends who have a farm and are used to their lives being a zoo. They can't wait. Ada and Liam are especially looking forward to steak, wine, and maybe a little time to themselves.

August, 9, has a penchant for building and drawing
Eliza, 8, loves being outdoors on her own
Felix, 7, artsy and funny
Leo, 4, high achiever and quick to follow siblings
