YEAR ONE: Within the first year of their marriage (although they've been dating for 7 years), Roddy and Roza are now expecting their first child. Months later, Roza gives birth to baby girl, Paulina María.

YEAR TWO: There is a sudden fiscal crisis going through the country, and almost every family has to adjust to live below their usual mean. Roza seriously takes up couponing and learning other ways to save money and energy; her actions will serve as new material for her comedy routine.
YEAR THREE: Even at two years old, little Lina can still find herself in some trouble. After leaving Lina unsupervised for less than 5 minutes, she comes back to find Lina dropping her expensive makeup down the toilet. Her punishment: going to bed two hours early for a week.
YEAR FOUR: Roddy and Roza find themselves expecting another child, and it turns out to be a boy this time. Months later, their son, Adam Bruno, is finally born.

YEAR SIX: Roddy loses money on a small stock for a small business. While frustrated that he lost money, he's lucky it wasn't a large amount.
YEAR SEVEN: Roza is laid off from her librarian aid job at the local high school. Extremely saddened by this, she still wants to stay optimistic. For now, she staying at home with the kids and her working on more material for her comedy routine.
YEAR EIGHT: With the growing success of her comedy career, Roza is getting paid more now for each gig she does, which really helps put the family.
YEAR NINE: Luck strikes the Ortiz family when a scratching card that Roddy buys (the first he ever bought) won him $2 million! While super excited, Roddy and Roza knows well enough the power and devastation that won lotteries bring people. They decide to take half and save it for when they go to college. For the rest of the money, they use it to buy a bigger and nicer house.
YEAR TEN: Roza finds herself pregnant for the third time, however this one was actually planned. With the kids growing up fast, she misses having someone depend on her all the time. She later gives birth to a girl, Eleonora Concepción
