Anders and Catherine have been married for a year. Anders is of Norwegian, Finnish and Russian origin and decided to dedicate his life to spreading the Lutheran faith. That's how he met Catherine, a beautiful young girl from France. It was a love on first sight and they got married after a short relationship. Catherine has a degree in business and is putting it to a very good use. Coming from different countries they landed together in Brazil, mostly due to Anders' job, but Catherine did not lose any time and found herself a job as a key account manager for one of the international companies in Rio de Janeiro.

Anders and Catherine are both very religious and helping others is very high on their list of priorities. Therefore it came as no surprise when two years into their marriage they decided to adopt, from Haiti. They adopted three brothers who are aged 12, 10 and 7. The boys are settling in beautifully in their new country with new parents.

Quin was raised in Wales by his local dad and English mum. He actually wanted to be an actor from a very young age but got into woodwork in his early 20s and started pursuing it as a career.
The pair met when Quin came to England for a weekend to celebrate his cousin's 21st birthday and Lorna was at the party. The pair hit it off. Although he went back to Wales they kept in touch and after meeting a few more times embarked on a long distance relationship. Just a few short months later, Lorna announced she wanted to see the world, she'd got a job with an organisation teaching disadvantaged kids in Nepal. Quin decided to follow her, putting his building skills to good work by helping expand the school and build homes.

Lorna gets a job in a South African International School and, being highly skilled in a transferable skill, Quin easily manages to follow, finding a job within days of landing in the new country.

Yr2: Quin's boss turned out to be a pig! So with his head held high, he tells the man where to shove his job and for the meantime the young couple live off Lorna's teaching wage.

Yr18: Parker misses all his pets but Lorna and Quin refuse to get anything too difficult to care for so they agree he can have a little fish bowl in his room. Parker picks out two goldfish and names them Batman and Robin.

Savannah found a part-time job working in a bakery. Her official title is "pastry chef", but she assists with many different aspects of the bakery. Before moving to Italy, she lived in the United States with her aunt, working as a nanny, barista, and home health aide.
