Eduardo Francisco, age 34, born in Lisbon, writes music for film and stage, works in London and mainland Europe.
Cathleen Margot, age 33, previously a classical singer and ballet dancer, now a writer after retiring due to an injury and then pregnancy. Her first book, written for older children, was adapted into a successful play.
They have had several miscarriages, including one late-term, and decided it was in Cathleen's best health interests to adopt.

He was adopted by the Burrow's a young couple from LA, California and grew up together with his two older sisters at a ranch just outside Los Angeles. This triggered his love for animals and nature, he loves hiking and horseback riding in his free time a passion that he shares with his wife India. Despite his love for nature he has chosen a completely different professional path and works as a urban planner. His other hobbies include traveling, he and India take at least two overseas trips every year. He is very close to his adoptive parents, older sisters and their families.

Thad and India have been married for six years and have tried for baby almost as long. After many tests and trying all they possibly could, they've been finally diagnosed with unexplained infertility a year ago.

Lottie and Matt!
Please welcome Lottie and Matt, siblings from the United Kingdom. Lottie's full name is Charlotte Grace; Matt's full name is Matthew Thomas. Lottie is 14 and pregnant; we do not yet know the gender. Matt is 10; he is a lovely young man and is very helpful. The siblings both speak fluent English and they are Christian. The reason for Lottie's adoption is that when she became pregnant, her parents just wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible. Matt came with her because he couldn't bare to live with the people who did that to his sister. Lottie and Matt have always wanted to live in the States so they can't wait to meet their new family. Hopefully they will all get on, especially Mason and James because they are the same ages as Lottie and Matt. Please keep us updated about how Lottie is doing with her pregnancy, and how Matt is settling in.

The Harrison family is very pleased to welcome Lottie and Matt into their home! Adeline immediately sympathized with Lottie, and quickly fell to taking care of the young girl. Matt gets along well with James, and the two boys spend all their time together. So far, Lottie is doing well; no complications have arisen and the family is looking forward to meeting the new baby when he/she arrives. Lottie and Matt are also settling in well in church, the members of which accepted them right away. While Lottie did not start school due to her pregnancy, Matt did, and so far he's doing well. It took him a while to get used to the new setup, but he's gotten past that now.

Seamus grew up the heir of a wealthy family. He was rich and he seemed on the surface to have everything he could ever want, however he felt alone and unloved for most of his childhood. At his boarding school he acted out frequently and he became an immature playboy until he finally met the love of his life, Rosemary, a couple years after college. Once Romy was completely sure he had matured, she allowed their relationship to progress from friends to lovers. Now, years later, Seamus and his love finally married and they live quietly in a cottage near the seaside.

Romy had in a polar opposite childhood to Seamus. She wasn't wealthy, but she was loved very much by a family that taught her to pursue her dreams. While trying out an apprenticeship with a painter near Seamus's boarding school, the two met up and got to talking. They completely disagreed on most subjects but nevertheless they were intrigued by the other's perspective and continued to meet. Romy was reluctant to start a relationship with someone so immature at first, but she saw that her influence was making her a better man and she felt more comfortable taking that leap. Now Romy is a fairly well renowned artist and she wants to settle into family life.
Seamus and Romy both speak English primarily, but Seamus also speaks some French and his knowledge of Latin allows him to understand most other Romance languages to an extent.
Neither Seamus or Romy is religious, but they do celebrate major Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter.
Due to Seamus's extensive wealth the couple has been able to travel extensively. They have been to all the continents multiple times but they like Scandinavia and India the most as travel destinations.

Esme and Imogen!
Please welcome Esme and Imogen, 4 year old twins! The little girls are not religious, but they are young enough to be brought up religious if Romy and Seamus want them to. Their English father ran away when they were born; their French mother brought them up to speak French, but once again they are young enough for Romy and Seamus to teach them English. Esme's middle name is Clover, while Imogen's middle name is Rose. The two girls would be delighted to travel with Seamus and Romy as they have never been anywhere other then France. Please keep us updated of how Esme and Imogen are coping with their sudden change in life.
