Jenna is 34 years old. She is a working professional, a journalist and producer working on a breakout podcast about women’s style and fashion. Jenna was in a ten-year relationship throughout her twenties, perfectly willing to wait to start a family while she and her boyfriend built their careers. When Jenna turned 30 and wanted to plan for a baby, her boyfriend admitted he never wanted kids and they separated. Jenna hasn't been in a serious relationship since and is starting to come to terms with the idea that kids might not happen for her.
Kelly is 27 years old and works as a middle school librarian. She always knew getting married and having a family was more important to her than having a career. About a year ago, she married her college sweetheart. She was looking forward to starting a family... but a year later, instead of signing their first child's birth certificate, they are signing their divorce certificate after her husband had an affair on her. Kelly was left heartbroken, and now, dreams of a family seem very far away.
Rosalind is 24 years old, not quite two years out of college. She graduated with a degree in painting, which doesn't easily translate into any specific career path, and has been coasting by the last two years, working odd jobs and seeking out novel experiences. So far, Rosalind has had stints as a dog walker, waitress, and a grocery bagger. Rosalind has barely thought about settling down at all.
