Allegra:
Baby Girl: Leticia June.
Starting a casually physical relationship with Frederick didn't seem like a huge deal to Allegra. She didn't even bother to use protection, figuring that her fertility was shot anyways. Despite the huge surprise she got a little later, she can't help but feel overjoyed that her dreams of motherhood aren't over after all. Frederick pressured her to abort at first, which she strongly refused, but then he conceded and agreed to play his role as a father once the child comes. Due to Allegra's advanced maternal age, there is a higher risk for complications. She gets gestational diabetes, severe GERD, and the baby is born with Down Syndrome. Despite the fact that Allegra loves Letitia because she is her child, she can't help but feel a little disappointed since she feels like her dreams for her daughter will never come to fruition. Annabel and Cara were very excited for her, because she was the first to find out. Her parents adore her child, but they prefer Annabel's and Cara's over hers, partly because of their disdain of Down Syndrome, and partly because she was born out of wedlock. Her boss was surprised, but said as long as they can maintain a working relationship, everything will be fine.
Annabel:
Baby Girl: Jonquil Celine.
Despite the fact that Annabel should feel thrilled about her pregnancy, she is outraged at John and her ex-friend Alicia, who told John about the pregnancy when Annabel told her, even though Annabel explicitly said she didn't plan to tell John. Now John is butting back into her life and insisting that he have paternal rights, and that his mistress, Sandra, be respected as a second mother to her child. Annabel is contemplating telling John that she had a one-night-stand and that the father wasn't him, but she doesn't because she knows he will demand a paternity test. Her parents love and dote on Jonquil, because Annabel has skewed the timeline in her story to make it sound like she conceived before she found out about his affair, and to her relief, her parents don't seem to notice the wonky timeline, and her sisters agree to keep her secret. With all the stress of John butting his way back into her life, she is diagnosed with Postpartum Depression and is contemplating suicide. Her baby is already advanced and showing signs of giftedness, but she doesn't realize and thinks she is an awful mother for not being able to quiet her down. Her sisters were supportive of her decision and outraged over the behaviors of both John and Alicia.
Cara:
Baby Girl: Rhiannon Tanith.
While vacationing in France, Cara meets a charming Frenchman, Louis, whom she hooks up with. However, due to the time change (Florida to France), she took her birth control pills at the wrong time, leading to a little surprise. Since she only knows his first name and has no way to contact him, it looks like she will be raising this baby without financial or emotional support. Although she considers abortion, she can't help but feel a deep emotional tie to her baby and feels like killing it would kill her, so she decides to keep it anyways, despite the fact that she doesn't have the money for a child. Although Annabel won quite a bit of money in the settlement, she is saving for when John runs out on her, and Allegra and Keith will have to move in together to be able to make ends meet, Cara has no choice but to ask her parents for her. Although at first they are horrified that their daughter doesn't even know who the father is, they agree to let her live there and support the child under the condition that she get a real job and stop her silly adventuring once she is able to work. Rhiannon is born three weeks too early, but everything seems to be fine. Her sisters were shocked and admonishing at first, but eventually came to be happy for her. Her parents prefer Jonquil to Rhiannon because as far as they know, the former was not born out of wedlock, but Rhiannon to Letitia because Letitia has Down Syndrome.
