Prince Stephanos has married Duchess Rosamund Lilaea, Duchess of Zweihofen and Altchâtel in the principality of Winterburg. The union between the prince and the diminutive duchess is a political union, and despite their very different personalities they have welcomed a baby son. Duchess Rosamund is widely rumoured to be the illegimate daughter of the Prince of Winterburg, and even if this is not the case, both she and her mother have the ear of both the Prince and his court. Prince Stephanos and Duchess Rosamund are still learning to live together, and the duchess is unpopular with both Queen Zenobia and the populace at large. Nonetheless, they have recently welcomed a son, Duke Arkadios. Queen Zenobia loves her grandson, but is quietly resisting any pressure to bestow any further titles to her daughter-in-law or her grandson.
Crown Princess Artemisia has also married. Both a union of love and a political union with the northern kingdom of Wolfsheim, the hopeful future queen and her husband are very happy together. Prince Roland, youngest son of the King of Wolfsheim, is an intelligent, well-read and astute man, and a brilliant tactician. He is well-loved by the princess, her family and the population of Isara.
