DH: Selwyn Septimus Crane, 22
DW: Metis Mackenzie Crane, 21
I'm giving this a fantasy twist!
Selwyn is the seventh son of Serena Crane, head of the Daughters of the Moon, the most powerful witches coven in New England. Selwyn was a natural warlock, just like his older sister and six older brothers, but not especially talented as far as anyone could tell. Like all his siblings, he went to Lowery-Tillman Preparatory School, were he got passable but unremarkable grades and failed to distinguish himself in any particular way.
On the other hand, Metis' childhood was nothing but distinguished. The only daughter of Hannah Mackenzie, an eccentric woman and witch who lived off the grid in a New England forest, Metis (named for a goddess and born in the light of a full moon) Mackenzie's childhood was full of magic. By the age of sixteen she was a powerful witch in her own right. Defying her mother, Metis enrolled herself in a local high school, graduating top of her class despite having no formal education.
Seeking to further her study of magic, Metis became an acolyte of the Daughters of the Moon. She immediately caught Serena Crane's eye. Serena felt very threatened by the young, powerful witch and sought to destroy her.
Serena set an elaborate trap. She enchanted a bird to sing a song that would lure a powerful witch to a house in the woods - were she would immediately be put to sleep. Metis was indeed drawn in by the song - but so was Selwyn. Metis arrived at the house in the woods to find a beautiful, sleeping young man prone on the floor. She woke him with a kiss and they fell in love.
Realizing the would never be safe from Serena Crane, Selwyn & Metis went into hiding, leaving New England and heading west. They eloped in a private ceremony at the Grand Canyon, sharing their first kiss as the sun set behind them.
For a while they settled on the outskirts of a small Arizona town, working periodically to afford their modest home, but dedicating most of their time to unlocking Selwyn's powers.... until on day, Selwyn's oldest sibling, his sister Sybil Crane, came to them to warn them that Serena was still after them and was seeking to find Metis' mother as a way to hurt them. They immediately made plans to return to New England and hopefully save Metis' mother and defeat Serena...

DH: Andrew Dean "Drew" Harris, 31
DW: Emily Jacqueline Harris (nee Clark), 30
Drew and Emily met through mutual friends at a dinner party in LA, where they both lived. At the time, Emily was working in journalism and Drew in marketing. After almost a year of dating, the two moved in together, and five years later they were engaged.
Both Emily and Drew knew they wanted a small, intimate wedding in spring. The following April, the two were married in front of 75 of their closest family and friends. The wedding was "vintage garden" themed with an outdoor ceremony, her gatsby-style dress, succulent centerpieces and various vintage details. Despite the vintage theme, they still kept it modern. They opted for no wedding party (though their friends we were them every step of the way), wrote their own vows, and gave mixed CDs as thank-you gifts. After the wedding, the two honeymooned in Hawaii.
Both have left their full-time jobs to focus on Emily's successful lifestyle blog.

DH [20] Pascal Ignaas Klein
DW [21] Bronwen Jennifer Klein (nee Jacobs)
Pascal and Bronwen met in a small bookstore in Boston - Pascal worked there, Bronwen was just visiting from England. The two connected, and continued their friendship - and later, courting - online and through phone calls. They were recently married, and Bronwen has moved away from her family to join Pascal in Boston. Pascal, a lover of books, is in school to be an english teacher, and Bronwen has found work as a florist. The pair live in an apartment. For now, it’s smooth sailing, but who knows what will happen next...

The Stephens family
I just realized I gave you THREE paragraphs! lol I guess I had a lot to say!
DH [23]: Felix Wayne Stephens
DW [21]: Jessica Rachel (Nelson) Stephens “Jess”
Felix Stephens and Jessica “Jess” Nelson met at the coffee shop Jess used to work at. Felix had been a regular customer for a few months after moving into town and had finally gotten up the nerve to ask Jess out. To his great relief, Jess said yes, and they went to a movie for their first date. Six months later, during a candlelit dinner at his place, Felix got down on his knee and proposed to an ecstatic Jess.
The wedding was planned to be a beachside affair in Savannah, Georgia, with everyone on both sides of the family and all their friends involved. They went for a white theme, with the bride wearing a full-length white gown with a train at the tail and a veil, and the groom wearing a white tux. The flower girl, Felix’s niece, Kayleigh, scattered white lilies along the aisle as she walked, and Jess’ cousin, Blake, carried their rings for them. Afterwards, there was a big reception with a seven-tiered white wedding cake, a wedding band that played covers of some of Felix and Jess’ favorite songs, and of course speeches from various family members.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Stephens now live in Garden City, Georgia, a small suburb of Savannah, in a modern split-level home, and they’ve made friends with both of their next-door neighbors, the O’Connell family and Mr.

Meet the Lovejoys!
Stefan and Anya are newly married and about to embark on a week-long honeymoon on the Jurassic Coast, UK.
Originally, Stefan and Anya met in secondary school but with Stefan two years above Anya, the pair had few common friends and didn't much associate with each other. One summer before Stefan left for University when he was 18 and Anya was 16, the two merged friendship groups and started spending a lot more time together. That summer seemed to last forever - were Stefan and Anya falling in love? - unfortunately, circumstances were not of the youngsters' side as that September Stefan moved 300 miles away to University and Anya stayed in their hometown to go to college.
Fast forward three years... Anya has completed her first, exhausting year at university doing a Joint Honours Creative Writing and Drama degree. Meanwhile Stefan has finally finished his university experience having completed an extra year in police dog handling.
Now, three years after that summer, Anya and Stefan collide when they both return home... And it's like they've never been apart - three years older and wiser they know now that what they have is real and they're never letting it go.
Nine months later while on holiday for Anya's 20th birthday, Stefan proposes and Anya says YES! They agree to wait until Anya has finished university before they start planning their wedding but Anya can't help have flutters on websites and order magazines in the meantime. Anya's younger sister and Stefan's younger sister, Ellie and Iona are super excited and fully involved in the whole process.
Anya is 21 and Stefan 23 when the pair finally move in together and, six months later in the Autumn, they marry.
They have around 70 guests in a beautiful castle venue: http://www.farnhamcastle-weddings.co.uk/
Anya wears a dress: http://www.weddingdresstrend.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/small_image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/w/g/wg1211309_m_1.jpg

DH [24]: Fabian James Fairchild
DW [25]: Eleanor Marietta (Palmer) Fairchild
Fabian and Eleanor met a little under 5 years ago, after Fabian's car broke down on a country road in the middle of nowhere. Eleanor stopped to offer her assistance; she was training to become a mechanic, and fixed his car in under 10 minutes. Fabian was incredibly grateful to her, and charmed by her kindness and generosity. During the conversation they had while Eleanor while they fixed the car, Fabian mentioned being a florist: and so, when Eleanor received a beautiful bouquet of anonymous flowers, she had an idea as to who sent them. She asked around a little, and eventually found Fabian's flower shop, only 5 minutes down the road from her parents' garage! She ended up going in and asking for some flowers for her mum - the next week Fabian was in the Palmer's garage, supposedly asking questions about "cars and oil. And stuff." And so began a strange kind of dance, where yet another of Eleanor's friends was engaged, and they absolutely had to have flowers, and Fabian's engine was making noises again, and maybe it was best that Eleanor took a glance at it. Eventually, after several months, Eleanor realised she had to do something about the feelings she had for Fabian. She went into his shop, asked for a bouquet which meant "I love you", and gave it to him the next day. They dated for the next 3 years, when Fabian proposed through a bunch of flowers (naturally) with a ring nestled in the middle - he cried when Eleanor said yes!
The wedding plannjng process was long and arduous. Eleanor, it turns out, absolutely could not stand Fabian's mother: she was bossy, controlling and judgemental, with antiquated views as to what women should do (certainly not mechanics!). Fabian was rather indecisive, and so in the end, Eleanor made a lot of the choices - asides from the floral arrangements, which Fabian agonised over for hours on end, to both Eleanor's amusement and her concern. After what felt like an eternity, but was really only about a year, the big day arrived. The ceremony was held in the ruins of a local castle, which both bride and groom found utterly enchanting, and the reception in a nearby hotel. Both Eleanor and Fabian were sure it was the happiest day of their lives. Eleanor moved into Fabian's flat above his shop, but continued to work in her parents' garage.

Jim and Margot met while attending Wesleyan University; both studying English. Despite Jim's charming yet docile personality conflicts with Margot's headstrong and assertive attitude, the two became close friends and eventually fall in love with each other. By the time Margot receives her Master's, Jim proposes to her.
With the help of Jim's mother and her best friend, Margot plans out the whole wedding. The wedding turn out to be a traditional summer wedding taking place in Margot's hometown of Santa Barbara, CA. After the wedding, the newlyweds decide to settle down in Los Angeles, where Jim writes novels and Margot teaches at Loyola Marymount University. While getting married hadn't changed their dynamic, the two still have to used to being together more than before. The biggest problem they have to deal with is Margot persistence on keeping their home clean and neat 24/7, and Jim's overall slobbishness. Nevertheless, the two are willing to work together and strengthen their marriage.

Bennett and Kaia have been an on and off couple for the past five years, but they've known each other ever since the sophomore year of high school. They finally got married a month ago in an intimate ceremony on the beach that was followed by party with their family and friends in the backyard of their house, just as they wanted it. Even though they knew each other very well and lived together way before their wedding, getting married changed things in their relationship and they are still adjusting to the married life. Bennett just got new job in a major newspaper in the city and his constant overtimes are not really helpful for the young couple. Kaia works for a non-profit organization.

Alice, a woman with wavy blonde hair and blue eyes was born in England, where she met Henry, a man with straight ginger hair and green eyes. Henry is American but his parents sent him to a private boarding school. Alice was also sent there so that is where they met. Henry's parents then informed him that they were moving to England, which pleased him so much that he, at the end of Alice's schooling, asked her to marry him. So that is how it led to the preparation of the wedding...
Alice decided that she only wanted three bridesmaids. One was her older sister, Alisha, another was her teenager cousin, Leah, and the last was her long time friend, Amelie. Henry decided that his best man would be his friend from high school, Daniel. The flower girl was going to be Amelie's sister Esme but sadly she was ill so the flower girl ended up as Henry's younger sister, Mae. The ring bearer was Henry's other friend, Oliver. The two married each other in a large, fancy church in London, and their reception was held at their house. Alice now works as an English teacher and Henry is a police officer. They still live in London, and they enjoy daily, and nightly, life together.

Esmeralda, a dark-haired Cuban-American girl, met Sasha, a fair-haired boy with a Russian mother and a Serbian father, while they were still in high school. Esmeralda, born in the U.S. to two immigrants, had just been informed that her parents were granted U.S. citizenship. At that moment, she decided to discontinue her homeschooling and attend the same public school as Sasha. The two met in Esmeralda's junior year, Sasha's senior year.

They met in elementary school, but didn't really bond until they were teens. She proposed to him in a whim, and they married the next year at his church. The wedding was small, attended mainly by Nova's foster family, as Stetson is not on good terms with his family.
They have an flat in Birmingham, England. She works as a city police officer, and he is a nurse at a hospital.
It seems they were really made for each other! Things seem a little too easy, actually...
(I may have made them too young. Oopsie.)

I just wanted to say that story congrats are more about telling the story than creating the family...and if you don't follow the prompts, you'll have to do some mental acrobatics to make the story work. You can certainly choose not to have your couple married, but then you aren't really playing the game the way it was designed.
Lore is hard

Katie and Jon started dating the summer after high school graduation and got engaged thirty months later. They planned their wedding in six months with a lot of help from Katie's parents. They had a small ceremony at their church and took a five day honeymoon to visit Jon's relatives in Chicago. Jon could only get five days off from his job working for a small auto repair shop. Katie works for a community hospital as a nurse. The two of them rent a one bedroom apartment near Katie's parents' house.
