Daniel, or Danny, as he is called by friends, family, and, well, pretty much the entire kingdom other than his father, and Tera were matched together when they were children, just 8 & 10 years old. Tera was especially opposed to it at first, before she and Danny became friends and the romance blossomed naturally...to the point where they were both counting down the days until they could actually start planning the wedding. They were married a week after Tera's 18th birthday, in a large ceremony, with hundreds of guests in attendance, from other nobles to Danny and Tera's friends from the villages outside the castle. Tera's dress was not elaborate, one of her only big requests was that she be able to walk in her wedding dress without help. It was long-sleeved, floor-length, and white, with lace adornments, but it wasn't heavy. And now they start their happily ever after.
