Year 1: Jasper's younger brother, Desmond, fell very quickly in love little over a year ago and got married just three months later. As it turned out though it wasn't all sunshine and the two of them filed for divorce. Desmond temporarily moved in with Jasper and Elana before he could find a home on his own.
Year 2: Elana started feeling a bit weird right after Desmond had moved out. It took a while for her to figure it out, and there were no question that she was pregnant when she, at last, took the pregnancy test. Both Elana and Jasper were extremely happy to become parents for the very first time. They were a bit shocked at the first scan though when they learned that they were expecting twins! They later found out that they were expecting twin girls, and Elana couldn't think about anything else than baby names and baby clothes for their little darlings. The girls were born an early morning in October. Twin A were born with straight brown hair and brown eyes, just like Jasper's mother. Twin B were born with straight auburn hair and grey eyes.
It became clear as the girls grew older that Alys were into anything that had to do with nature, while Clara turned out to be the sporty one.

Year 3: The news channel where Elana worked were extremely happy and proud with the work that she did. And apparantly the rest of the country were as well, as the won the 'News Reader of the Year" award for the first time!
Year 4: Jasper and Elana really had their hands full with two little girls running around, but both of them wanted another baby so it didn't came as a surprise when Elana told Jasper that she was pregnant once again - but this time only with one baby. They had a son during the summer and the girls loved their new baby brother. He was born with curly auburn hair and grey eyes and he's into sports just like his older sister, Clara.

Year 5: Jasper always did a fantastic job, but he felt like nobody ever saw it. He decided to try even harder which payed out well as he got a promotion and became a boss over the other finance advisors! He was extremely happy with this, and the increased paycheck were very welcomed, as he had just found out that he was going to be the father of four.
Year 6: Oops! Jasper and Elana hadn't discussed having more babies. They both knew that they wanted at least another one some day, but not now. But accidents can happen, and sometimes accidents can be great. Elana once again found herself pregnant with a baby boy. He was born with straight brown hair and brown eyes, just like Alys were and he has always been a very creative child.

Year 7: Jasper were offered a new job as a financial analyst and decided to accept, even though it would give him less money each month. However, it gave him more time off with his growing family.
Year 8: Jasper felt like his family were perfect after Oliver had been born. Two girls, two boys. Elana was happy with it as well, and were happy to be able to focus more on work as the kids grew older. It was however a very hectic time for the family, and Elana didn't see the signals even though they were there. She didn't discovered that she was pregnant until week 12, and it took both of them some time to adjust to the idea of a fifth child. They eventually did though, and their third son were born just before Christmas. He had straight auburn hair and blue eyes. They had trouble getting him to sleep well until they introduced music in his life. Gus hasn't stopped listening to music since that day.

Year 9: Jasper thought it was a good match when he started his new job just over two years ago. He quickly realized though that it wasn't for him, and that he were tired of working with finances. He wanted to do something completely different, but didn't knew what until now. He got a new job as a insurance underwriter within the medical field.
Year 10: Seems like 'a new baby every 2 years' is the thing for the Fitzhugh family! Jasper and Elana were going through some rough months this year and were fighting a lot, they still managed to welcome another son to the family. He was born with wavy brown hair and grey eyes. And as he grew older he were playing soccer with Alys and Rufus - even though he wasn't very good at it. He still enjoyed everything that had to do with soccer.

They decided to move across the country and bought a 3 story townhouse that were big enough for their family. Elana started a new job as a different news channel, and Jasper decided to work at home by writing a book.
Year 12: Jasper and Elana decided to try for one final baby and then tie the tubes. It didn't take long until Elana started having extreme nausea. She were also extremely tired and couldn't get out of bed some days. Jasper were about to faint at the very first scan where they learned that they weren't expecting a baby. They were having three. This pregnancy were very hard on Elana, and she was relieved when the babies were born 10 weeks early. And they had all hoped for at least one girl, but whey were, once again, having boys. They all had Jasper's straight brown hair and Elana's blue eyes.

Year 13: Alys and Clara love their brothers, but it could be overwhelming with so many brothers, and Clara had been begging her parents for a puppy ever since they moved to their new home. Elana finally gave in and bought a golden retriever puppy that the girls named Hattie.
Year 14: It was finally Friday and Elana had been cooking a delicious dinner for the whole family and they were all just waiting for Jasper to come home. He didn't showed up so Elana just assumed that he had lost track of time and started eating with the kids. A few hours later it rang on the door and Elana went to open it, and saw two policemen and instantly realized that something was very, very wrong. The two policemen told her that Jasper had been on his way home when a drunk driver crashed into him. The ambulance tried to save him, but he was dead by the time they reached the hospital and Elana was left as a widow with 9 young children.
Year 15: Elana could barely function as human being after the loss of Jasper, and it was even harder for the children. Elana was offered a new job during this year and her instant reaction was to say no. Why would she want a new job, after everything that had happened? She eventually accepted the offer though as she shought it could be a new beginning for her and the children. She now works as a news producer.
