[Background: Max and James live in a two-story home in England. They are 23 and 25 years old respectively. Max has shoulder-length, straight auburn hair and grey eyes, she works as a primary school teacher. James has short, curly black hair and blue eyes, he is a technician on an intensive care ward. They met five years previously at university and have recently gotten engaged after four and a half years of dating.]
Year1: Max travels to Thailand to do some volunteering work over the summer. While there she falls in love with all of the children but especially a four year old girl named Mali. Max can't bare the thought of leaving Mali behind and phones James with a proposition. James flies out to meet Mali and agrees to go through the process of bringing her back to the UK. It takes six months of paperwork, interviews, flights and checks before Mali can finally, come home with Max and James. With her new home comes a new middle name: welcome Mali Sapphire Pearson.
Year2: Max is finding the pressures of teaching unconducive to parenthood and decides to become a part-time TA to focus on raising Mali.
Year3: Wow! After about nine months of trying, Max and James finally find out they're expecting - even better - Max is carrying two babies! Naturally, Max gives birth to a daughter and a son. Welcome Octavia Mary Pearson and Tennyson Enzo Pearson. Both babies are born with big brown eyes and black hair, Octavia's in tight curls and Tennyson little straight spikes. Within the first year it becomes clear that the twins have bundles of energy, they take any opportunity to move around and are walking by their 1st birthday. A future in sport is looking likely for them.
Year4: Max and James expand their family once again. They adopt again, this time locally, and bring home a five year old girl called Raven Truth. She has wavy brown hair and brown eyes.
Year5: With an 8-year-old, 6-year-old and two toddlers; Max and James weren't planning on welcoming any more children but nature had other ideas! Cue Reuben Jamie Pearson, born just four months after Max found out she was expecting with wavy brown hair and brown eyes. Just like the twins, Reuben is moving as soon as possible, he's just ten months old when he starts to walk and is in the garden trying to play football with his biggest sisters in no time!
Year6: With Max not working to be a full-time mum, James decides he needs to bring home more bacon and takes a 12month break in his career to go back to university. He trains as a theatre anaesthetist.
Year7: James is working hard and has earned a promotion, he's now senior anaesthetist, leading a theatre team.
Year8: Now the children have grown up a little, Max and James decide to add a pet to their family. They take everybody down to a local animal home and chose a bouncy six month old cross-breed puppy as the newest member of their household. Welcome Bellamy.
Year9: Raven breaks her leg during a cross-country race. She needs two operations, has a cast for 10 weeks and crutches for six months. She spends a lot of time off school which is hard but Max makes sure she keeps up with her learning and provides plenty of opportunities to invite Raven's friends round to cheer her up.
Year10: Max learns a friend of the twins is having a rough time at home since her dad has gone to prison and her mum is struggling to cope. When Max lends a hand she is shocked when the stressed-out mum asks Max to take in her kids for a few weeks. It's a bit of a squeeze but Max doesn't want to see the kids separated in foster care so agrees to take in 5-year-old Alice Ivy, 7-year-old Natasha Eleanore and 8-year-old Jonah Parker. Their visit is extended a little but after four months Max is happy that their mum - with support from social services - has herself back on her feet and is able to have her children back.

Created her a while ago as an alter ego for myself.
My initials are MMM so I wanted to keep that but Max is a name that I would chose for myself if I were to pick a new one. I alternate between Mary/Marie/Maria for the middle, whatever fits my mood but keeps the theme.
Most of the time I can't be bothered to think of a new 'mum' character so I always come back to Max!
