With Mariah moving away for college the apartment suddenly felt awfully quiet. Luke and Jennie had considered the idea of adoption ever since they became a couple and felt there was never going to be a better time then this. Their new daughter, Mercy, was born in Eritrea. She is two and has dark eyes and hair and the cutest set of dimples in her cheeks. The first weeks after her adoption have been rough for the parents and the little girl, but she is slowly settling in her new family. She loves being read to, playing with her stuffed animals and she and Hester and inseparable.

After battling unexplained infertility for three years, Luke and Jennie welcomed twin daughters Emma and June into family, much to Mercy's joy. It's still too early to say what their interests are going to be, but so far Emma loves to destroy all of Mercy's block towers while June is constantly following Hester.

After a lot of begging and hesitation, Luke and Jennie had signed Mercy for gymnastics two years ago. Their fears came alive, after she broke her right arm in two places after a scary looking fall during training. The little one underwent two surgeries on her arm, but is slowly getting better after extensive rehabilitation.

Ever since Mercy's adoption six years ago, Luke & Jennie were sure they'll go down that road again their infertility struggles only strengthening their decision. This time they choose a domestic adoption and welcomed a sibling set to their family not so long ago. Twins Thea and Finn are five and both have blond hair and the biggest blue eyes they've ever seen. Thea is very shy and loves animals, while Finn is the most outgoing of the bunch and is constantly on the move. Tilly, the baby of the set is a placid fourteen months old, with blond wavy hair and dark brown eyes.

Not even a broken arm two years back could stop Mercy's passion for gymnastics, but a ruptured achilles tendon maybe could. Mercy suffered yet another injury in training and while the doctors have not said the final word they are not optimistic about her return to gym.

Two "unexpected" events happened this year. The family beloved dog Hester passed away of old age, especially Mercy, June & Tilly took her death very hard. First little birdie has flown out of the nest this year. Mercy had re-allocated to Los Angeles as she got accepted to UCLA on sport scholarship, the years in gym and competitions finally paying off. She is planning to study psychology and complete in NCAA.

Mercy just keeps rolling. In her sophomore year she scored two gold medals at NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship, first she won bars and then repeated her beam gold medal. Needless to say that her team won the first place overall.

Luke and Jennie became grandparents! Mercy and Justin welcomed a baby boy, Cyrus Luke Houston, just days ago. They were not planning on becoming parents any time soon as they are both still in school working on their master but couldn't be more in love with their brown haired and grey eyed baby boy. The same goes for the boys grandparents and aunts and uncles.

With their age and fertility struggles Luke and Jennie were not expecting to become parents again. Yet a little whoopsie happened and Atticus Milo Perkins joined the family much to everyone's joy. The curly black haired and green eyed boy completed the family as Luke got the big V shortly after his birth to make sure there will be no further surprises.

Luke and Jennie were content with their family as it was, but once they got a call from an adoption agency that there was a newborn Chinese boy in urgent need of a home, they did not hesitate for long and traveled half a world to get him. Charlie Bo Perkins joined the family as a two months old and fitted in just perfect. He has black straight hair and brown eyes.

First little birdie has flown out of the nest this year. Mercy had re-allocated to Los Angeles as she got accepted to UCLA on sport scholarship, the years in gym and competitions finally paying off. She is planning to study psychology and complete in NCAA.

Luke and Jennie couldn't be prouder of Mercy as in her freshman year in NCAA she won a gold medal on balance beam at NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship. She also helped her team to the overall win.

Mercy just keeps rolling. In her sophomore year she scored two gold medals at NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship, first she won bars and then repeated her beam gold medal. Needless to say that her team won the first place overall.

After much thought the whole family decided to join Mercy in Los Angeles. Luke switched within his company and the family moved into a mansion in Santa Barbara. Thea and Finn have started attending classes at UCLA as well. Thea's major is computer programing, while Finn is taking journalism classes.

Luke and Jennie became grandparents! Mercy and Justin welcomed a baby boy, Cyrus Luke Houston, just days ago. They were not planning on becoming parents any time soon as they are both still in school working on their master but couldn't be more in love with their brown haired and grey eyed baby boy. The same goes for the boys grandparents and aunts and uncles.
