Tony and Eve have been together since they met in college and have been married for thirteen years. They have the family they always wanted: two incredible little girls and two lively little boys. The family owns a veterinary clinic where both Tony and Eve work, (Tony more on the medical side and Eve more on the managerial side). Amelia, their oldest, has great ambitions of being a politician. Her parents never knew where she got that idea from. She's a straight A student and a bit of a perfectionist all around. Like her mother, she can be a little pushy at times, but she means well. Being born second, it was almost Gabriel's legacy to come in second place. He can't remember ever winning a competition and things just never really go his way. That doesn't mean he gives up, though. Like his older sister, he's a determined kid. Abigail is the loudest of the four Berne kids. She's always running, yelling, or just making a mess. She loves animals, like her parents, and tells everyone that some day she's going to own the clinic. The baby of the family, Henry, is Abigail's polar opposite. He's quiet, laid-back, but shares her love for animals. He's always asking his parents questions or silently watching them as they work. Together, the family lives in a large, two story house barely a minute down the road from the clinic.
