Sorin and Eirene dated for a while, but eventually it became clear for both of them that things wouldn't work out in the long run. Sorin wasn't comfortable being in the public eye, and Eirene wasn't sure about her feelings about someday marrying Sorin. They decided to split ut, but it wasn't long before Eirene had a new boyfriend - Prince Axel of Sweden. The people of Gretalia didn't mind the break up. They didn't know much about Sorin, and thought it was wise of the young couple to break up before things got too serious. The people of Gretalia were very happy when Prince Axel was introduced to them as Eirene's new boyfriend.
Shortly after the breakup, Princess Thalia and her husband Prince Darius announced that they were once again expecting. People were hoping for a girl this time, but most thought it would be another precious little boy. Eventually the baby was born - and it was a girl with her father's dark eyes. Thalia and Darius couldn't quite agree on a name for her, but eventually settled on Josephine.
The people of Gretalia had been waiting what felt like forever for the announcement that the King and Queen were expecting again. What they didn't know was that the Queen had trouble getting pregnant, and that she also had miscarriages. When the new pregnancy was announced the people of Gretalia were begging for a boy - a crown prince. They got more than they begged for - a boy and a girl! The doctors are saying that it might be because of the fertility drugs, but who knows? They were born a little early, but both Christian and Gwendolen are doing fine.
