As the years pass the royal family just keeps growing. The Queen and King Consort welcomed their second son Prince Henrik a week ago. It was a very easy pregnancy and birth and the royal parents as well as the big brother are in love with the new member of their family. Queen's brother Prince Magnus and his wife, who is now styled Princess Loredana, welcomed a daughter Princess Dorothée two days ago after a nerve wrenching birth, but both mother and daughter are doing fine. The whole country celebrate the two new addition and it wasn't until the official celebrations were held that the potential new members of the royal family were introduced to the public. Both twins attended the celebrations with their partners.
The relationship between Princess Marianne and Prince Christian of Denmark, distant cousin of the current King Consort, has been rumored for months and now also confirmed publicly. Christian was very popular in Sweden as he spent part of his studies in Sweden and the union was met with great joy. The same couldn't be said about Marianne's twin Prince Carl Joachim who arrived with a unknown girl. The girl turned out to be a member of noble family from Poland, Princess Natalia Radziwill. Although the initial reception by public was rather cold this changed during the celebrations when she turned out to me a warm and caring person. When it came to the family, there was never any doubt about the choice of partners by the twins.
