There was shock in the kingdom when Emperor Johann abdicated to be with his beloved Cristobal! With the scandal of his origin and this scandalous relationship, the royal family has now officially cut ties with Johann, who lives happily with his now husband Cristobal in Bermuda, where they run one outfit of Cristobal's family's shipping company, spend time on their yacht, and generally enjoy life. He feels no loss for leaving the royal life! The royal family does not know that Louise and Sebastian are still in close contact with Johann.
Wilhelm, Emperor Philip's second son, is now Emperor. While he felt he was too young to be married (at only 22!), his mother and all the royal advisors urged him to find a wife to keep the family from further scandal. After looking at the prospects, he grudgingly proposed to Princess Kalliope of the royal house of Androkles of Kleitos. Wilhelm seemed to be the only one who was not overjoyed by the match.
Meanwhile, Duke Sebastian and Duchess Louise have welcomed a little Duke of their own! They are overjoyed at the arrival of their heir.
