A few years passed after the famous wedding year in Sweden before another wedding come into sight. This time Prince Magnus got engaged to famous Italian born opera singer Loredana Mazzo. During the past years Magnus was linked with many women, but not many knew that the young couple has been secretly in love and together for several years. The engagement was received with great joy as Loredana was immensely popular in the country, there was however one person that missed the celebrations, the Queen herself. She's been in labor the whole day and gave birth to her first child just two hours after the engagement was announced. Crown Prince Carl Ludvig of Sweden was born in the Royal Palace all healthy and resembled his late grandmother according to those who saw him. The celebrations that day were endless.
After Lovisa's death Peter thought he won't be ever able to love again, but as people say, time heals, and this was true also in his case. Not long after the engagement of his son and birth of his grandson, he married Anna von Arbin, daughter of the head of royal court. Although no one requested it, he decided to give up his title and let the young generation reign the country. He moved to the country side with his new wife in hope to get a break from the hustle and bustle of city.
